Using Tata nano for past 5 years. Full option automatic variant. ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ആണെകിലും ലോങ്ങ്‌ ട്രിപ്പിൽ. 20-21 km with AC കിട്ടാറുണ്ട്.(maximum 22.7 km/l with Ac വരെ കിട്ടിയിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്) Good vehicle. Extremely good for heavy traffic cities. ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ആയതുകൊണ്ട് traffic block ഉണ്ടാവുമ്പോൾ വളരെ convenient ആണ്

Bro, just got a 2017 used nano xta sitting at 17,000km. Car had two owners before. I noticed I'm not getting mileage above 16kmpl in city or highway. Today I drove with A/C and it returned only 13.6kmpl. The car kind of jerks when you press the accelerator after a complete stop in traffic. There is mild body rattle as well once you turn on the engine. The engine temperature gauge rises to 3 bars during a 1-2 hour drive. When I got back to my home after the drive, the engine fans were running even after I turned off the ignition and took off the keys. It turned off after 5 mins. Is this normal for a nano? I only heard good things about nano. That's why I decided to buy one. I even took a mechanic to make sure I wasn't buying a lemon. He didn't find any issues during inspection and a short test drive. Any idea what is going on with my car? Any help in this regard shall be highly appreciated. Love this car for the space and swiftness. I hope I didn't get a bad apple.
Brother.., my friend bought a second hand nano recently and i drove that. The milage showing in MID is almost similar to what you got in your car. but there is no jerking or this temperature issue yet!. I asked him about this and he haven't noticed about these problems. But my friend owned a Celerio amt old model, he got the jerking problem when he press accelerator all time..do one thing check that car's service history from the service centre that they previously done. Maybe that will be helpful. And show your car to any Authorised service centre near you
@@cockpitinmalayalam 13.6Kmpl? Are you serious? Was that an AMT Nano too? Most reviews I read claims people getting 17-19 kmpl for AMT in city and range is much better in highways. I intend to take the car soon to an authorized service center. I hear there are many dealerships for TATA like Focus and Marina motors. Just wondering, if either one of them will be able to pull the service records regardless of the dealership the car was serviced before. Nevertheless thanks for your suggestion. My car badly needs a service.
Nicely presented. Really TATA made beautiful nano. As said due to it priced less it got a wrong market resulted closer of production. I too have my second Nano twist xt up model. It's good & easy to drive , spacious. Highly way it gives 20 city between 14 to..,.... Depends on traffic.

I had a 2017 model nano.. upgraded to used Sedan but.. still i find nano was much better..
Same here.. i have a nano and my father using a ford fiesta 2009 model... Fiesta is a fentastic handler and drivers car in all manner! Since i Start driving nano my driving taste has changed and now i love nano more than fiesta ❤️. Nano has its own charecteristics bro! Real wheel drive, independent rear suspension, perfecto steering balance, gokart like handling, milage!.. i never sell my nano😎
@@cockpitinmalayalam i was using the nano since last September we had a Mahindra verito which was 2012 model so for that reason it had very pathetic resale value, so we decided to sell nano and keep verito which i thought its Sedan and more spacious bla.bla... but as a matter of fact i was screwed Last month after getting the verito i changed the clutch assembly timing belt and other periodic maintenance, which came up a bill of 48k..

According to google it has zero star ratings.it failed in global NCAP and got some rating in indian tests but there too child safety is not there becouse nano cannot install a child seat at rear!!! Nano is a real wheel drive car... And you know no 4 wheel drive is available in any of this segment. Maybe some brilliant mechanic can do a conversation.. but in nano's case i am not sure about that brother... Btw nothing is impossible no?! 😊

Rear tire size ethra aanu ittitulath...any difference in handling... steering wheel feel, and in the long term has it had any ill effect on the front and rear suspensions in anyway... and also what's the alloy wheel size... those particular alloy wheels if what I have seen in Google was right, it is 12 inch. I'm thinking of upgrading to 13 inch ones on my new 2017 second hand nano which I just got 3 months back...I got a very stellar deal. with me getting a car which had just ran 7k+Kms even the brand new smells still there...one thing is that it's a huge departure from the 2012 manual nano that I'm already having with me.
Bro this car has 12inch 165 section tyre from Bridgestone. But i would suggest 155 section tyre if you really looking for better milage!. But if you are a keen driver you can use 165 section becouse the way it handles is stellar!.. there is a huge difference in bodyroll also... You will have some milage drop on 165 section, that is the main drawback i have seen.. and front and rear same tyre size aanu ee vandiyil. Stock caril 135 aanu frontil ath terrible aanu bro
