I'm not sure what I just watched here, to be honest a lot if it left me confused. Sounded very monotone outside of the chorus, maybe with a better beat track or something the vocals would have come out better on quality. A lot of it sounded very jumbled and mumbled together. To be fair my people come from the back hollers of Kentucky, and it takes me a day or two to start processing the way they talk when I visit the older I get. But it's not a back woods dialect I hear. It sounds like some faux ghetto speak dialect outside of the chorus and the beat didn't sound country at all. Again just a confusing track to me. Then there's the images from the video, the old rusted axe... Pretty sure most country folk I know would take care of their axes, they depend on them. Then there's the pallets, right with some bright red and black handled tool under them, why wouldn't someone have at least put some chopped wood in stacks there instead? I don't know many country folk that keep pallets just laying off in the woods. Just saying a very disconnected video since it's out in the woods.

I'm not sure what I just watched here, to be honest a lot if it left me confused. Sounded very monotone outside of the chorus, maybe with a better beat track or something the vocals would have come out better on quality. A lot of it sounded very jumbled and mumbled together. To be fair my people come from the back hollers of Kentucky, and it takes me a day or two to start processing the way they talk when I visit the older I get. But it's not a back woods dialect I hear. It sounds like some faux ghetto speak dialect outside of the chorus and the beat didn't sound country at all. Again just a confusing track to me. Then there's the images from the video, the old rusted axe... Pretty sure most country folk I know would take care of their axes, they depend on them. Then there's the pallets, right with some bright red and black handled tool under them, why wouldn't someone have at least put some chopped wood in stacks there instead? I don't know many country folk that keep pallets just laying off in the woods. Just saying a very disconnected video since it's out in the woods.
