Freddie really loved gospel. This song has exceptional vocals from Freddie.

Once in the interview Freddie pointed at the sky and said "he's looking after me".

This song was going to be on the "Barcelona" album under the name "Africa by Night" but for some reason Freddie and Mike Moran didn't include it... So Freddie Mercury worked it again and made it a Queen song putting on "Innuendo" ... Also it's the first and last time that someone apart from Queen has credits on a song... Mike Moran

"Too Much Love Will Kill You" except Brian May there are Frank Musker and Elisabeth Lammers who have credits on a song

He LOVED Aretha. Zoroastrians were thought to be the wise men that followed the star the Bethlehem to meet the messiah king. So he is of a faith and upbringing that was very knowledgeable of God...

Classic Queen at there very best with overblown vocals and harmonies and Freddie and Brian complimenting each other through the song! This song must be the brother of "Somebody To Love"

Queen had several songs that were religion inspired...starting with the song "Jesus" on their first album, written by Freddie and "The Prophet's Song" from A Night at the Opera, written by Brian.

Queen does have a song called "Jesus". Going down to the river to see the Lord Jesus...it's great. I often wonder myself if Freddie struggled with religion...which to follow or if to follow at all. We'll never know what was in his heart until we get to where ever we're going...lol.

Your thoughts are kind of the same as mine, it reminds me kind of like those Evangelists on TV preaching to the masses, still a great song
