The part that irritates me is most of them aren't even fit. I mean I'll give this one half a pass, because she actually is in okay physical shape. I can tell she half arses upper body work, but her legs are alright. Most of them however are just skinny and blessed with the pretty gene. They're rarely actually fit.
Say what you want about male fitness influencers and their propensity to gloss over their rampant PED abuse, but at least they actually fucking train. Half of the female influencers you see struggle to squat 1 plate below parallel. They might look attractive, but 9 times out of 10 that isn't a product of anything they're doing in the gym. I have got actual ADHD like diagnosed ADHD, and it is so annoying to hear everyone say, "I've got undiagnosed ADHD." Nowadays, it's super easy to go get diagnosed with it if you really want to claim it. Just go to the psychiatrist and say, "Hey, I think I have ADHD." Back when I got diagnosed, it was a bit of a struggle.
Tell me about it. I've got diagnosed ADHD treated with therapy & meds. When idiots start self-diagnosing, it makes actual psych patients in treatment look like the "wan-na-bes". Collecting labels is so "in" that it makes patients with REAL challenges appear to be pretenders. The only advantage that I have is that I'm a Boomer. I'm a bit too old to be doing it just for "clout".
@lisag-mh5rc Even though the only people who know about my ADHD are close friends and relatives, because of all this online crap I still get accused of using my ADHD when I very rarely even mention it. I got off the meds a long time ago, so some days are just more difficult.

I’ve spent so long molding my body into the way I want it to look. None of it was easy and I refused the easy route altogether. Seeing folks like this do barely anything at all and saying she’s a “fitness influencer” shows how she doesn’t take exercise seriously at all.

Despite the fact I highly dislike influencers like this, that speech impediment MIGHT be a nervous/anxious tic and she doesn't actually hear it. As someone who actually has ADHD do you know how hard it is to be organized as this person? She is highly motivated which is cool, so fair play... but the biggest problem is being consistent with motivation and sticking to a functional routine. This is why I hate people that self diagnose themselves with autism, ADHD or depression. Some people naturally have lots of energy, doesn't mean they have ADHD. Sometimes people get sad from life or it's a bit hard to deal with, doesn't mean it's depression. Some people may have a hard time socializing or understanding information, but that doesn't mean it's autism.
Sorry, I had to clear this up because these stupid influencers will throw any tag, label or buzzword out when it's generally an insult to the people who actually go through these things.
I hate these self diagnosis people too, I was diagnosed with depression (I didn’t want the label) and it’s nothing like what people diagnose themselves with. You don’t feel sad or upset, you feel numb and flat. It’s hard to stay motivated and feel drained most of the time, I don’t know if it’s something you just “have” because mine is a result of other problems, but people should actually stop and consider going to a doctor if they really do think they have a problem.
