Actions that save from the Hell Fire | Abu Bakr Zoud

- Since the Hell fire hasn’t and will never be extinguished, we need to be speaking about it everytime, and consistently asking about what will save us from it’s punishment.
In this Khutbah I share the hadith of Abu Thar in where he asked the prophet ﷺ what actions would save a person from the hell fire.
The answer of the Prophet ﷺ will not leave anyone of us except that we can all do something to save ourselves from the punishment of Hell.
The Hadith:
Abu Thar Al-Ghifaari said: “I asked the Prophet : what saves a person from the Hell-Fire?
He said: Belief in Allah.
I said: O Prophet of Allah, shall anything else be done alongside belief in Allah?
He said: give a small portion of what Allah has given in (in charity).
I said: O Prophet of Allah, what if he is poor and can’t find anything to give (in charity).
He said: let him enjoin the good and forbid the evil.
I said: what if he isn’t able to enjoin the good and forbid the evil.
He said: let him help the one who’s not able to work (due to disability, ill health, etc.)
I said: O Prophet of Allah, what if he’s (one of those) who is not able to work?
He said: then let him help the oppressed.
I said: O Prophet of Allah, what if he’s weak, unable to help the oppressed?
He said: don’t you want to leave any good for your companion to do, (then, in the case he can’t do that (help the oppressed), then let him hold back his harm from the people.
I said: O Prophet of Allah, if he did that will he enter the Paradise.
He said: any believer who does anyone of these actions except that it (the action) will take by his hand until it admits him into the Paradise.
Sahih At-Targheeb, Hadith No: 876
May Allah ﷻ protect us from his punishment in this life and the next.

MashaAllah, let us not be only thirsty and gulp this beautiful lectures, we should take notes keep a journal. Really study what he is saying over and over again these lectures. Let us not seek out new new new new with out memorizing one hadith or dua let us really spread the baraka of these lectures and teach them to ours families. There are those who talk so lightly of TH-cam Islamic knowledge Ilm that’s gained.
Alhamdulillah, it’s not where the knowledge is given that’s more important than who’s giving it and the aim of the person receiving it for guidance is only given by the Almighty Lord above the Heavens and the Earth the Owner of the Majestic Throne.
After guidance is given, if one doesn’t act upon it, then isn’t one rejecting his/her blessing?

All praise and thanks are due to Allāh; we seek His Help and we seek His Forgiveness. We seek refuge with Him from the evil of our souls and the evil of our actions. Whosoever Allāh guides then none can misguide him, and whosoever Allāh leaves to stray then none can guide him. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship save Allāh, the One Who has no partner and we bear witness that Muḥammad ( ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) is his servant and Messenger.
"O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Ādam), and from him (Ādam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allāh through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship. Surely, Allāh is Ever an All Watcher over you."
[Sūrah al-Nisāʾ', 4:1]
"O you who believe! Fear Allāh (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islām (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allāh."
[Sūrah Āl-ʿImrān, 3:102]
"O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allāh and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allāh and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise)."
[Sūrah al-Aḥzāb, 33:70-71]
As for what follows: Verily the most truthful speech is the Word of Allāh and the best guidance is the guidance of Muḥammad (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and the worst of affairs are the newly invented matters (in the Religion) and every newly invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is a going astray and every going astray is in the Fire.
