I am stitching a beach scene on 11ct that I ordered from Tapestry market. It is DIY and I didn't know that until it arrived. It's not good. They doubled one of the blues and one of the other colours ran out, I emailed them and they are just now getting around to reissuing. I am going back to counted cross stitch projects lol

Visit the elderly in a retirement home . I worked as a housekeeper and it was very hard to see. Almost everyone has diabetes and missing a limb or very sick on a other illness because of diabetes because the body can’t heal right .

Sorry to hear your mom is in a tough situation. Hope it will all go away like it never happened. Im aure stitching takes your mind of it a little bit but dont put too much pressure on yourself either.
Just a quick question...would you do a counted version of this pattern of this magnitude? Or stamped is your preference for larger projects?
