Your ACW are coming along well and looking good. I keep looking at my Perry battle in a box and putting it back in the stash and the same with my Warlord Games ACW epic starter lol Dead Mans hand has taken over here and having a blast cracking through a small town of plastic and MDF buildings and then onto the miniatures.
Great video your ACW look very brilliant I did see your little game are managed to get on the big screen and they look even better we'll have a great holiday I probably see you on the podcast tonight on the big screen it's even better show😂😂👍👍🤠🤠
Me over the week: painted Larry the Paladin and 3D drew some 3'"x3'" villagers huts, fences and trees Uncle Dom: that's sweet, but check my sweet Civil War regiments. Nice work!
I Have been using Brown Earth, Like the look of Euro Mud, Have a tub of it, Will use it on my next AWI regiments and see if I love it as much as i do your Bases
Very nice ACW Dom! I use to wear a Butternut jacket during my reenacting days, which is a really light creamy brown. As to the By Fire And Sword, I have been trying to resist that as much as possible because I know that It would become a huge project for me, but you aren’t making it easy lol
Great stuff Dom! I'm right behind you cranking out six brigades for Johnny Reb in one giant Batch Paint. Its rather painful but I'd rather strike while the iron is hot! Loving your updates Brother. Have a great week! (PS: I had no idea about the Marine ACW Uniforms, thanks for the knowledge!)
Oh, sweet! I will check that. I am definitely doing one Regiment of (ACW) Marines (it's the least I can do for those guys putting up with me for 6 years!).
great work as always! I'm sure others have mentioned this but check the Perry metals 'dismounted bushwhacker cav' for some mixed-weapon ACW infantry. While you are there can I humbly suggest you might also want to have a look at the dismounted cav, horse holders and Berdan's Sharpshooters to mix things up a little? Finally, this ones a no-brainer but as the Perry Zouave box has 42 minis, getting one of those and a metal Zouave blister to add to will give you 2x24 man Zouave units if you need a change of pace for reasons of sanity ;-) Best of luck progressing the rest of the force, keen to see these guys hit the table!
Cracking painting as always mate. You really are a machine! Check Foundry for shotgun troops. I've got version 1 of By Fire and Sword but never played it. Enjoy your hols.
Hi, Dom , Redoubt have a small range of dismounted raiders, also 3sets of characters, Quintell, Anderson and Jesse James foot and mounted. Don’t know if that helps
Great painting Dom particulary like the confederate cavalry.Think perry's might have the dismounted figures your looking for?.Need to get some myself as well as more mounted, dead mans hand is a game ive been thinking about for a while but really not sure id have time for it?,although Martin 7th sons videos of it look fun.
I wonder if you can use the shotgun arms from the plastic cowboys set? If they don’t fit perhaps you can cut the shotgun and do a hand swap or something similar?
Dom could you mention what figures they are as my memories going a little. I like Sharp Practice and any others I can get hold of. Pickets charge is also suitable for me along with fire and fury.
Great stuff. Do you make extra command stands or switch out the flags for different regiments for the tabletop or are you flag agnostic? (I don't have ACW and probably would be happy with Blue vs Grey for the schemes.)
Good stuff, enjoy vacation and enjoy those ACW when they hit the table
Thanks! Will do!
Impressive what you show. Surely a lot of work but worthwhile. Jewels for the table.
Wish you a good time on holiday, Dom. Greetings, Joachim

I think Euro is the best one for me - I like the dried colour of it

Dont know if it helps but osprey have an acw marine book that covers the marines on both sides and the various battles they were in.
Oh, sweet! I will check that. I am definitely doing one Regiment of (ACW) Marines (it's the least I can do for those guys putting up with me for 6 years!).

thats a thought thanks Anthony
On the dismounted Confederates with Shotguns, the Perrys have mixed firearms in their pack ACW8, i think there are 2 or 3 shotguns in rhat.
great thanks
many thanks helpful

I have tended to be flag agnostic for the most part
please do a box opening of fire and sword
OK will do
