For those who think English ver made this song popular.
This song got popular before English version was released, incase you don't know in korean music shows and charts this song topped Bts and Blackpink. That's how it got noticed by international kpop fans. Ofcourse the song is so beautiful that most of the people like it by listening. Then Shaun decided to make an english collab. He even had been accused for manulpiting chart because he is a less known artist and suddenly he topped on chart.
It's sad some people underestimate the power of music, language is not a barrier if the music is good.
I don't remember if I ever listened a Korean song which has bad lyrics . I can understand it because of something we all know as "english substibles" . That's why before I judge a song , I try to understand the meaning .
Only losers would think he's manipulating charts. Shame at JYP for even thinking he's doing that. He just wants to milk the shit out of his girl group and when they got thrown out of charts, he accuses other singers of "manipulation".
His music is crap by the way.

i was introduced to this song when a friend played it on speaker while we were on a school overnight trip (it was during the bus trip to the place). we were all just jamming to it and the ones who knew the song were singing along, waving our hands in the air. some of cracked the windows open and stuck our heads out, felt the wind against our faces and screamed. it just has a way of making you feel more alive than you've ever felt

Personally really dislike the popular English version because I don't feel the emotion coming through that's connected to the music/lyrics as when SHAUN sings it. But that's just my opinion. It's a truly beautiful song. ❤
I personally believe English is better. The voice of Conor Maynard is very calming and has that "I miss you" vibe. However, I do believe the korean version is also REALLY good, this is a one of a kind song.. (I'm Korean)

진짜 몇년만에 듣는 노래인데 가사 하나하나가 다 기억나네
2024년에 들으러 온 사람 (나)
난 이노래를 베트남에서 처음 들었는데,
베트남 택시기사님이 이노래를 좋아하셨음
그분이랑 친해져서 그 택시만 탔는데
이동 할때마다 이노래를 틀어주셨음.
그 후 한국에서 way back home 들을때마다
베트남 특유의 햇살, 아름다움, 밝은 느낌 그리고 미케비치해변이 떠오름
지칠때 이노래 들으면 여행기억이 떠올라서 힐링됨
사람들이 이래서 여행가고 노래를 듣고 하나봄
나 초5때
남부 가서 이노래 들었는데
진짜 왜 듣는지 알겠다
지금 보면 남부생각나네...

Walking along the beach really hits different. Especially when you can see the sun and moon. Barefoot seeing the suns rays hit the water as the moon starts to make its way out of your sight. The sand being smooth and cold to the touch as the water occasionally hits.
The sand and water becomes a pain to clean up afterwards though.
