That second turn has insane laterals. Also the airtime is really really good. I highly recommend the front and back. Front gets the best backwards airtime and the back gets the best forwards airtime
What a fantastic ride! I can imagine that the waits are probably really long thought, since there are only 3 cars per train and really can only be one train on a track at a time.
I rode it just the other day and there was only a very short ride. The park attracts a lot of families who may not be interested in such a large ride, so I only had to wait a few minutes.
I wonder what the airtime is like on the backwards half. You're going a good bit slower then, but holy hell looks like some great air on the first half. Kudos to ZDT for cramming such a good looking ride in there!
I rode this about a month ago and I loved it, it is very fast but if your gonna ride it you should ride in the front if your a wimp and if your brave ride in the back.
every ride is very hard to plan and make, my friend. Rollercoaster and rides are practically people's lives in your hands. And if someone gets severely injured or kiled, a company will get sued. Your welcome 😊
+swagpikmin10 The company won't be sued right away. It depends on who was at fault and if the park chooses to take responsibility instead of the company.
The name is Seguin, with a g not a q. Pronounced Sah-geen. I've seen that roller coaster as this place is right off the road, in town. Didn't know it was a switchback though. Very interesting.
Guess what? It doesn’t’t actually reach vertical. Which means if they want it to be the steepest drop on a wooden roller coaster means that they would have to remove the trim brakes.
Ok but... why? The front ride through looks great, but going very slowly backwards through elements doesn't look terribly exciting. Right, American Beagle?
It doesn't look like something I'd make a special effort to ride if I was in the area. I guess if you want your park to have a wooden coaster but not enough funds to put a full length one in, this is what you get.
+Elias Mertens I was confused because part of this is animation and I didn't notice at the time I watched it. I saw the real video and thought the animation was also real.
It's a tiny amusement park located in a small town. There is not much of a wait. San Antonio is 30 minutes away from this park but San Antonio has 6 flags and seaworld.
I love that wooden coasters are getting innovative again, they deserve the love
I didn't know this would be having two train operation. I'm both amazed and intrigued by that fact.
How would this have two train ops
@@zyuukii Check out 1:46 in the video. :)
@@Kyukon-038 wow you really replied to a comment u made six years ago, how’s life been?
@@zyuukii Yup, got to ride it afterwards!
Those drone shots were fantastic. I'd love to see more footage like this. Great job all around.
It looks better than how I thought it would be
That second turn has insane laterals. Also the airtime is really really good. I highly recommend the front and back. Front gets the best backwards airtime and the back gets the best forwards airtime
this looks so cool what a fun ride, and as always Robb & TPR Crew does a wonderful job filming this coaster!
Does that vertical spike make this the steepest drop on a wooden coaster?
+Quan Narula Yes, it does.
+Theme Park Review K I just edited the Wikipedia article en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_roller_coaster_rankings#Steepest_wooden_roller_coasters
+Captain Timothy Ohhhh.... Do you need some ice for that burn from TPR?
+Theme Park Review How Steep Is This?
🤔🤔
Is this reply section infinite
The POV shots would look great in VR.
lol that little girl towards the end is so cool. she is like "the merry-go-round??? LAME! now THIS is a ride!!!" lol.
Wow ur camera movement is getting better and better
Thank you
Lol
personally I love hearing some of the people background noise because to me it makes you kind of know what the rides "environment" is like!
That looks like fun...especially the return trip backwards :) Gotta ride this one
man, gravity group knows what's up.
Aw man this makes me want to live in Texas
Really good camera super clear
This is just too cool. I want to ride it so bad.
I've rode this ride!! It's *AMAZING*
They made a typo in the description. The city is Seguin, TX not Sequin. Close to San Antonio.
This roller coaster looks fun.
What a fantastic ride! I can imagine that the waits are probably really long thought, since there are only 3 cars per train and really can only be one train on a track at a time.
+SixLeafCloverOFire There are four cars per train, and two trains. It's also a small park, so the capacity of the ride matches the size of the park.
I rode it just the other day and there was only a very short ride. The park attracts a lot of families who may not be interested in such a large ride, so I only had to wait a few minutes.
that wait lines are super short since not to many people go to this park.
This ride runs multiple trains because it has a switch track.
Theoretically you could run 3. One on station block, one on lift block and one in shuttle block.
thats pretty fricken awesome!!
The track switch is really cool
I wonder what the airtime is like on the backwards half. You're going a good bit slower then, but holy hell looks like some great air on the first half. Kudos to ZDT for cramming such a good looking ride in there!
that roller coaster looks good.
I live in Texas and I really want to ride this!!!
I love this ride I have been on it so many times and its very fast
Looks fun
This looks like fun
This looks very smooth but when it was a reversed pov it looked really bumpy but it still looks really fun
I rode this about a month ago and I loved it, it is very fast but if your gonna ride it you should ride in the front if your a wimp and if your brave ride in the back.
Mylifeasaudrey G But if you're in the back you don't experience the 89 degrees.
Corbin Burdette no cause its very bumpy in the back
This seems like it's smooth as butter, at least in the POV. Do articulated woodie cars tend to help with smoothness?
You get a guaranteed rollback everytime.
wow, that's great
omg that's incredible design! I was wondering how they get back to the station! Who made this ride!?
The Gravity Group
CoasterGeek1216 Zyleo They would make this :D! GG is awesome! thanks guys :D
oh man i went to zdt's for an field trip yesterday and my friends and I challenged the other schools to try not to scream 🤣
This almost looks like Gold Striker at Great America. Just without going backwards.
rode this yesterday!!
amazing :)
Good lord I wonder how hard it was to develop this ride to get it to work how it is one wrong error must had been super bad lol
every ride is very hard to plan and make, my friend. Rollercoaster and rides are practically people's lives in your hands. And if someone gets severely injured or kiled, a company will get sued. Your welcome 😊
+swagpikmin10 Just one word: Togo :D
+swagpikmin10 The company won't be sued right away. It depends on who was at fault and if the park chooses to take responsibility instead of the company.
lol that too guys
I heard Dorney Park might get one:)
Same but with the covid stuff..
Wendy O Koopa maybe 2022?
The name is Seguin, with a g not a q. Pronounced Sah-geen. I've seen that roller coaster as this place is right off the road, in town. Didn't know it was a switchback though. Very interesting.
How were you able to get drone shots? Amazing
I think it's sort of scary that the next car is already going up the hill while they are switching tracks.
they only use one car in operation. the other sits on a seperate track.
Guess what? It doesn’t’t actually reach vertical. Which means if they want it to be the steepest drop on a wooden roller coaster means that they would have to remove the trim brakes.
Looks like the creators took a bit of a Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 inspiration at 1:03
Ok but... why? The front ride through looks great, but going very slowly backwards through elements doesn't look terribly exciting. Right, American Beagle?
It’s still an amazing coaster though.
God that's fast
does the train coaster starts blowing it's horn before starting?
I heard they put some Titan track on this now
I wish I could go on the SwitchBack, to bad I live in Massachusetts.
I feel a great empathy with you. What part?
It doesn't look like something I'd make a special effort to ride if I was in the area. I guess if you want your park to have a wooden coaster but not enough funds to put a full length one in, this is what you get.
Omg wow
Cool concept! Very loud tho
I didn't See a Wooden Boomerang before
There is brakes right before the first drop? You don't see that often.
+Airboss You can clearly see that they slow down after the first drop.
+Vickelurre They do not slow it down after the first drop at all.
Theme Park Review I really need to see a doctor. :c
+Vickelurre You need to see an eye doctor because it clearly doesn't slow down after the first drop.
Spirit Of The Holidays Yeah, he made a really lame joke
The world's steepest wooden roller coaster.
This coaster has alot of speed for it to be that small
Wow
I was wondering how it would work until i saw the switch track
Chemtrail sky at the top of the lift hill....
Anyone else notice the Chem Trail clouds in the sky?
I've been on this ride it's terrifying Lol
Is it though?
Looks really fun but it would have god awful capacity
+Bob Kermit This is a really small park in a small Texas town. It's not going to get Six Flags crowds, so the capacity will be just fine.
good
This is right next to my house
seems like the ride is lacking but I never would have thought of it
+MrGamecube14 How is the ride lacking? What did you want? An El Toro built into the space the size of a few neighborhood backyards?
Elias Mertens well... yeah
OH MY GOD, INGRATE! REALLY?! BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE! WHICH IS A REALLY AWESOME, WORLD'S ONLY, WOODEN SHUTTLE COASTER!
Elias Mertens well damn son...
can you do baron 1898 in the efteling in the netherlands pleeeeaaaaaaase
Ok Robbert
It sorta sounds like the tardis
IT'S seguin not sequine
daar wil ik in
Weet je het zeker?...
Ja
What does shuttle caoster mean lol
Oh ok thanks
(sigh) If only this was in an ACTUAL amusement park.
Melissa Rivero Then wait times for this would be significantly longer due to its small capacity. It's fine where it is.
2nd
This looks like really good animation but its not. Weird
+Jared W What? Seriously? I really can't believe that I just heard that. Well, read that I guess.
+Elias Mertens what do you mean???
Good animation but not? Are you implying the ride isn't as good as it looks in the animation?
+Elias Mertens no I'm not
+Elias Mertens I was confused because part of this is animation and I didn't notice at the time I watched it. I saw the real video and thought the animation was also real.
I can't imagine the wait times for this. Main reason why shuttle coasters are awful.
It's a tiny amusement park located in a small town. There is not much of a wait. San Antonio is 30 minutes away from this park but San Antonio has 6 flags and seaworld.
It's literally a walk on lol
lol random kiddie frisbee
Sure doesn't have a great capacity
It's in a tiny park so it doesn't matter.
