Hi gentlemen, I have been watching your videos for quite some time. They are really worth watching. Of course I have been reading the Qur'an too, but what I understand from that is total violence, hatred, sex and so on as against the good deeds of Muhammad told by my muslim friends. What actually astonishes me is that even the self proclaimed islamic scholars in India don't try to go through those records or watch videos of people like you. Hats off to you both

Quran means Recitation.. means you listen then read...
The book form is called Mushaf.. even now I can write Quran in Roman Arabic form..the main thing is its original meaning is never changed.

    • @qasimalvi1

Sabaic Arabic is a writing form, But Arab of that time were good at Oral communication and with very good meomry very few can write...
Most of the Quran was recited at the time of Muhammad PBUH and it was at the time of Abu Bakr RA the first Khalifa it was decided to write it down as a book form as Islam was spreading outside Arab too and many people who memorize the Quran was killed in wars...

I'm rather surprised to learn that Bedouin dialects were spoken so far north. I thought they came from the central Arabian area. I'm particularly interested in the linguistic study of the Qur'an because my speciality is in textual analysis (Greek, Latin, etc). I hope we are going to get more information later on this topic. How to respond to muslims who say that Jesus is not the son of God and that Muhammad is greater than HIM. Here are the answers from the koran and Islamic sources itself proving that Jesus is not only greater than Muhammad but also the Son of God.
Jesus was born of a virgin-koran 3:47 and 66:12- Surah Maryam
    Muhammad was not
    Jesus performed miracles- koran 2:87
    Muhammad did not
Jesus was taken up to heaven - koran 4:157-158

If all men are born with sin because of Adam and Eve. Then why would Jesus be sinless, yet he was "son of man". These are his exact words. What you call him is immaterial!
Next, the bible says no child will carry the sins of his parents. Isn't it a contradiction? Why do you want us to carry Adam's?
There's nothing like an original sin. This was a philosophy that was being made to justify the crucifixion of Jesus.
But, was Jesus crucified? Nope. Unless you don't believe that Jesus was the messiah prophesied in psalms.
    Read these:
    Quoting Jesus himself:
"For these are the words which were written in the prophets (psalms and Isaiah) that must be fulfilled - "I will not die but live, for in the time of trouble, God will hide me, for you have not required sin offering"!
    Psalms 118:17-25, Psalms 71:2-4, psalms 40:6, psalms 138:7, psalms 20:6, psalms 28:8, psalms 27:5-6, psalms 41:1-2, Luke 24:44, and the Qur'an 4:157-158.
Now, if you want to continue believing that the "Roman Jesus" died for you, that's your problem.
Even in Luke 24:44, Jesus is affirming want is in the Torah, that God will hide him and that he will not die!
So this guy left Islam to go worship idols! Was it poverty or the devil is also working very hard?
Bro. Islam will remain a true religion of God.
    Read these bible verses:
    Deuteronomy 21:22-23, Exodus 20:3, Matthew 4:10, Luke 4:8, Leviticus 26:1, Ezekiel 23:30, 38:18, 33:25, Ezekiel 14:3, Ezekiel 14:4, Jeremiah 1:16, Isaiah 2:8.
Even though Catholics deny that they don't worship the idols, but they are often seen kneeling before them - taking them to be earthly representation of Mary and Jesus.
Now, i believe this guy is sick!
He once claimed he was Muslim, but wants nothing to do with Islam. But, he is forever adorning Muslim attires!
The brain was corrupted to leave Islam, but the heart/soul still admires Islam.
    Brother run away very fast!
Christianity was not even the religion of christ. It is a corrupted version of Judaism, tailoredbto meet the needs of Romans. The reason Romans were prepared to kill early Christians, and eyewitness disciples of Jesus so that that they overhaul Jesus' teachings! Ask yourself these questions:
    1. Was Jesus unaware of what he was teaching when he was on earth? Why would he teach different things while on earth, then go away and send Paul to come contradict all his (Jesus') teachings?
    2. In view of 1. Which "Jesus" appeared to Paul? You and i know that the world is waiting for Jesus ' "second coming", not "third coming"!
    3. Why would Jesus make Paul blind in order to talk to him? In order to give him instructions? Jesus never made anyone blind when he was on earth, and even when he appeared to his disciples after the alleged crucifixion. Who exactly appeared to Paul? Is it possible that Satan assumed Jesus' appearance and then made him blind in order not to be recognised? How comes Paul's teachings are contradicting Christ, if it's Christ who sent him?
    4. How comes those who accompanied Paul never saw Jesus when he allegedly appeared to Paul? They only heard the voice. The bible is even contradicting itself on this.
Read these verses, and decide for yourself which is "more" manmade!
The bible is replete with cases of killings, rape, mass murders, forced slavery - allegedly under the instructions of the "Jewish God". Read these verses: Numbers 31:7-18, Chronicles 21:14-15, Isaiah 13:16, Zachariah 14:2, Lamentations 5:11.
In the case of Numbers 31:7-18; How do you (as a man), tell that a 3 year or a 9 year old girl is a virgin? By sleeping with her, against her will - right? If this is not rape, what is it?
And the worst bit is, the instruction came from the "Hebrew God". The same God allegedly ordered them to kill infants as young as 1 month. Think about it! And this is how you portray God - as a vengeful, irrational, merciless, etc or the bible was intentionally manipulated to be used to commit genocide against other races!
In the bible, there are over 1,000 contradictions. Here are some of them:
    1. What did Judas iscariot do with the money he was paid after betraying Jesus? There are two different accounts in the bible! Logically, one is not true!
    2. How was Jesus crucified? Definitely, not on a cross. The Jews never used to crucify people on a cross. It was not known to them then. Then, where did the cross come from? Or how many times was Jesus crucified? Read Deuteronomy 21:22-23.
    3. How old was Jesus when he died? The bible is deliberately scanty on Jesus life and lifestyle while on earth. Despite having lived on earth for 33 years, he is being portrayed as having lived for 1 month. During the 33 years period, Jesus did everything any mortal did, including sleeping and waking up regularly, playing as a kid on a regular basis. And when he reached maturity, he was circumcised according to Jewish culture- and by a man!
Early Christianity did not regard Jesus as God. It was in 400 AD when a Roman empiror (Constantine), who was not in the list of prophets/was not an appostle of God comanded that Jesus must be regarded as a God/Son of God. The Ebionites and nazarenes objected, but were killed in large numbers till the narative stuck. In fact, prior to that, trinity was not even known.
    4. According to God's plan, He only intended to use Mary as the one who will bring Jesus on earth. Thereafter, Mary was to go on with her life. She was later married by Joseph and together they were blessed wiyh other children (daughters and sons). Now Mary was mother of Christ/God! Why are you embarrassed to say, "brothers and sisters of "God"? Why are you embarrassed to call Joseph, step father of "God"?
You're even shy to recognize Jesus' dibblings in the bible. They too, played their part.
    5. The bible portrayed Jesus kneeling down severally and praying to God! Which God was he worshipping? Was he worshipping himself? If he was worshipping himself, how comes at calvary he prayed till "his sweat turned to blood", and still he refused to honour his own prayer? Was her merely acting? I mean, he sent himself to come and die for humanity. Why was he praying asking "himself " to have "mercy on himself" and remove the cup?
    6. If Jesus was God, how comes at calvary he asked Peter and another disciple (must be Andrew), to keep vigil as he prayed? You mean your God is not omnipresent?
You have a lot to deal with! Stop misinterpreting the hadiths, and Quran to misinform "some muslims" and to exite fellow christians!

What a delightful presentation! Brilliant. The northern origins idea is getting stronger by the day. It is my understanding (and I stand corrected as I haven't read Durie's book yet) that the Sabaic script has unique letters, very much like the Ethiopic script, and doesn't need diacritical marks at all to distinguish letter or sounds. Is that right or did it have a dotting system too?

so yesus did not died in crucifixion
      IS A WRONG STATEMENT
Jesus said it ahead of time that He is going to be KILLED AND HIS BURIAL IN ADVANCED ..
      Luke 9:22
"The Son of Man must suffer many things," He said. "He must be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and He must be KILLED and on the third day be raised to life."
      John 12:7
"Leave her alone," Jesus replied. "It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
JESUS DIED OF LOSS OF BLOOD AND WATER DEHYDRATION
      John 19:34
Instead, one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out.
      John 19:33
33But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already DEAD, they did not break His legs.
JESUS COMING FROM HIS MOUTH SAID THAT HE DIED..
      REVELATION 1:17,18
....“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was DEAD, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
      Hebrews 2:9
But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered DEATH, so that by the grace of God he might taste DEATH for everyone.
Yes, it was God the Father who ultimately brought His Son to Calvary, but His Son went their voluntarily. The Son of God willingly agreed to die on the cross for the salvation of those whom God had chosen from eternity past (Eph. 1:4-5).
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
Oh, what a love! Jesus lay down his life for us, so that we might live with Him forever. My fellow believers in Christ, if you ever doubt whether Jesus loves you or not, look back to Calvary and survey the wondrous cross, and don’t stop surveying it until you exclaim, He spread His arms from right to left, that's how much He loves you.,...
      Romans 8:9
But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)

      Jesus said,..
“I am the good shepherd…and I lay down my life for the sheep…I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again” (John 10:14-18).
Jesus said that He is the TRUTH
      John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the TRUTH and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
So, who crucified Jesus? Who crushed him to death? His Father did! Listen to Prophet Isaiah,
Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities…. Yet it was the will of the Lord [Father] to crush him (Isa. 53:4-5, 10).
“Do you really believe that it was God who killed His own Son?” “Yes”. “Why would God do that to His Son?” “He did not spare His Son, so that He could spare you. God loves you more than His Son it is because God don't want you to die a second death which is separation from Him for 'ETERNITY' received His free gift which is His Son and you will have Eternal Life with Him”.. At 5:17, saying "ha theos" makes no sense. That is using the Hebrew article with the Greek word for "God". But I know what he means. He means "ho theos" which is the Greek article and the Greek word for "God". I think he meant to say "ho logos" which is "the word" in John 1:1. Bringing up the article (or lack thereof) in relation to "theos" in John 1:1 actually opens up a can of worms.

i.e. 5:18 John1:1 "ho Theon"/"ηο Θεον" is Greek- not Hebrew (but yes it is an example of definite article)....
6:28 Originally "Nabatean Aramaic" was not even an Arabic dialect...it did apparently "evolve" into Nabatean Arabic when native Arab speakers began utilizing it about 2 centuries before Mahomet, it eventually merged into Arabic from the replacing the original Aramaic vocabulary with Arabic words...apparently it is now called "Nabatean Arabic"...apparently it is believed Arabic script evolved not from Sabaic Script, but rather Nabatean Aramaic script....🗣👳🏾‍♂️🐪🌴🏝🏜...

"What’s more, he suggests that many
of the Qur’ānic variants coexisted during the time of the prophet just as variants in ancient poetry coex-isted during the lifetime of the poets and rawī-s who lived in an oral-transmission environment (p. 232). Nasser concludes that the mysterious tradition of sab`at aḥruf (in its broader sense encompassing the Qur’ānic qirā’āt) was probably a consequence of the failure of the codification process by ‘Uthmān, which was not able to produce a single unified Reading of the Qur’ān. Thus, the variant readings kept multi-plying exponentially until Ibn Mujāhid, when their number became limited again." Marcin Grodzki on Shady Nasser's critique of the variant qiraats of the Quran
Jay Smith name drops Shady Nasser a lot but blows the discussion out or proportion just to prove his ridiculous claims. The Arabs were an oral people and only a select few could read and write. Therefore there are multitude of pronouciations. You travel anywhere in a specific country and its people will have their own dialects to the SAME language. This is the reason Uthman codified the Quranic text and scholars such as Ibn Mujahid set the pronunciations later on after Prophet Muhammad. To PRESERVE the Quran and its intended meaning as Islam was expanding outside the Arab lands and reaching non Arabs.
The meaning of the Quran is unchanged and the book we have today is preserved as how it was revealed.
Fun fact: Qur'an in Arabic comes from the root word qara'a yaqra'u (verb: reading or recitation). It is recited and spoken. Its not a "Book". Even the Qur'an that we hold today is actually not the Quran and rather more accurate called Mushaf (compiled texts/scripture)

With respect Mr. Sabri: you make some very valid points which I agree poke some holes in Smith's view. However, so much research seems to be coming to light indicating that Muhammed may actually have been from Petra in Jordan and that seems compelling to me. Wouldn't that be important to know?
Many native people maintain traditional stories from much, much farther back than a couple hundred years, with sacred storytellers who have been charged with passing down these stories with the utmost reverence. So I have little doubt there is much truth in the Qur'an. I'm just less sure of it's origin. Similar arguments are made about the Christian Bible by Muslims that I also think miss this point.
May we people of the book debate these questions earnestly, as indeed the nature of God is vital to understand. But may we do this as brothers and sisters, not enemies sneering at one another. I'm convinced that the problem is much less the differences between how truth seekers understand God and those who don't even acknowledge God exists or care about the impact of their actions on others.) May you be blessed today.

    Languages of pre-Islamic Arabia
To show how at loss the Islamic-era Arabic literary evidence can sometimes be, one needs only to consider
the linguistic situation of pre-Islamic Arabia (on which see Macdonald 2000 and Al-Jallad 2015: 1-25). The
Muslim authors did not have an understanding of the variety of languages in the pre-Islamic era, claiming
that most of the inhabitants of Arabia were Arabic-speaking (Rabin 1951), whereas in historical reality
Arabia was home to speakers and writers of forms of North Arabian (including but not restricted to Arabic),
South Arabian, Aramaic (Nabataean, Syriac) and, to lesser extent, Hebrew, Ge’ez, Persian, Greek, and Latin.4
In the Islamic tradition, not only Arabians but also major characters of the monotheist tradition such as
Ismail speak Arabic (al-Masʿūdī, Murūj: II, 162). Furthermore, later Arabic writers had little grasp that the
South Arabians did not see themselves as and could not be called Arabs in the pre-Islamic era. The Muslim
authors see Yemen as the original home of the Arabs and Arabic language - an idea of which we do not
have much evidence and that is most likely incorrect.
To this is connected another myth, namely that the Arab tribes are divided to two section: al-ʿarab
al-ʿāriba, ”True Arabic-speaking Arabs,” and al-ʿarab al-mustaʿriba, “Arabized Arabs.” The ʿarab al-ʿāriba are
deemed to be the Southern tribes and the ʿarab al-mustaʿriba Northern. But this is incorrect insofar that
the Arabic language actually spread from the north to the south in the course of late antiquity, and not the
other way around. The Islamic tradition pushes the importance of Yemen even further, for example
claiming that the eponym of the Greeks, Yūnān, came from Yemen (al-Masʿūdī, Murūj: II, 5-6). All of this
probably reflects Islamic-era, post-conquest tendency of Yemenite Muslims to emphasize their significance
but this needs further research (for some notes see Bashear 1989).
In the Muslim sources, the development and rise of the Arabic script is said to have happened in the
    Ḥijāz, al-Anbār, or al-Ḥīra (e.g., al-Hamdānī, Iklīl: I, 77-79). The suggestion of al-Ḥīra is interesting, since it
was the capital of the Lakhmids (see below) and, indeed, the first text that is written completely in Arabic is
the Namara inscription dated to 328 CE; it is a funerary text for Marʾ al-Qays ibn ʿAmr, who is usually
identified with a Lakhmid king of that name (Bellamy 1985). The script is a late variant of Nabataean, of
which the Arabic script developed during the following centuries (Gruendler 1993). However, the Namara
inscription is the only testimony for the Lakhmids’ ostensible written use of Arabic.
As for the Ḥijāz, there is actually more evidence that the Arabic script evolved there. Based on
epigraphy, the rise of the Arabic script seems to be more directly related with the longevity of Nabataean
Aramaic that was, according to new finds (Nehmé 2010), used in the western parts of the peninsula until
the fifth century. The script of these inscriptions is Nabataean and the language is often a mixture of
Aramaic and Arabic. In 2014, Frédéric Imbert and a French-Saudi team found a new Nabataean Aramaic-
Arabic inscription dated 469-470 CE as south as Najrān, which sparked scholarly and media interest.4
    The
Old Arabic inscriptions of the sixth century (Zebed, Jabal Usays, Harran; see Macdonald 2008) seem to be
continuation of this epigraphic habit of late Nabataean inscriptions, even if they have been found to the
north of the Ḥijāz, in Syria. Writing on perishable material, if it existed, has not been preserved.

In the 2nd minute, Jay Smith mentions a book by Ahmad Al-Jallad, a scholar researching the history of the Arabic language, strongly implying that Al-Jallad's book supports the comments that he subsequently makes about northern version of Arabic in which the Qur'an in written.
I have a few questions which would provide a considerable amount of clarity to the claims being made in the video, which I am not disputing.
What is the name of this book by Al-Jallad?
Does this author make any comments in the book that explicitly support Smith's claim that the Qur'an was written in the northern I'rab Arabic rather than the Sabaic Arabic which one would expect that Qur'an to have been written?
If the answer is No, which is what I expect, can either of the speakers in this video reply to this comment and give a citation and quotation from the book which they believe supports the comments they make about the northern origin of the Qur'anic text?

Hebrew was the language of the scholars and the scriptures. But Prophet Jesus's (peace be upon him) "everyday" spoken language would have been Aramaic. And it is Aramaic that most biblical scholars say he spoke in the Bible.
What is the Aramaic term that Jesus (peace be upon him) used for God?
The Aramaic word for God is "Alaha"/"Aloho", which is related to the Hebrew word "elohim". In the version of Jesus's (peace be upon him) last words found in gMark and gMatt this word is transliterated into a Greek form as "Eloi", so Jesus (peace be upon him) is depicted as using this word for God in his native language in his last cry before dying. Jesus (peace be upon him) was praying not crying. Just put yourself in Jesus's (peace be upon him) place and think logically NOT emotionally. I bet you would've prayed as well NOT cried.
Now does Allah like Muhammad (peace be upon him) said and Alaha"/"Aloho like Jesus (peace be upon him) said when he was praying to God as he was about to be crucified not sound the same? They're praying to the same God because there is only one God and Jesus, Moses, Ibraham, Joseph, Solomon, David, and Mohammed (peace be upon all of them) are His Prophets to humans and they all came with same message from the same One and only God!
I'm only asking everyone to take the extra mile and fact check these 2 ignorant men!
Peace and love to all of y'all ✌🏿

This new evidence would place the prophet figure, if he existed, in northern Arabia, and the Quran as being created from users of that Arab lingual sub-area. (Sadly the warner/prophet of the Quran is unidentified as to his location and background in the Quran itself, an omission that is very fishy, as when giving such as account one would be keen to provide this, to prove that the message was genuine.)
Mecca down on the western edge of the Arabian peninsula never made much sense. In one's studies of History and Geography even back at school age one knew that great empires are founded upon a large demographic bases, and that such population pools don't live in remote rocky and sandy desert locations - those are sparsely populated before modern times. The account of Islam spreading according to the SIN would require a massive and impressive conquest in less than 50 years after the death of the prophet figure, it simply couldn't be done from a small base. Pilgrims on Hajj and umra are actually visiting a "Mohammedland Hejaz".

The Corpus of the 114 Surats informs us that there is a Tradition which claims to be an Apostolic Tradition yet rejects circumcision while the Apostles were all circumcised, didn't believe in Trinity, and had prescribed a dietary Law in Acts 15:22-34 which the said Tradition rejects. Is it not ironic!
On the basis of those clues we can say for sure that:
Qur'an is a codeword for Torah.
The Reminder should be the proper Title for the corpus of 114 Surats.
Islam means an Evangelical Party supposed to enforce the Torah as the Law of the land.
    Muhammad euphemism for Messiah
Abu Quasim as an Arabian Evangelist who later became a Sovereign Ruler,
Legislator...and took up Muhammad as a reign name.
Unfortunately the "Muhammad" of the Palace and the "Mohammad" of the Shahada in the Mosque got blended together in the Tradition.
If it is true that Abu Quasim signed off his formal treaties and official decrees as Muhammad as reported by Ibn Hisham, then this might explain how this present OPTICAL ILLUSION was perpetuated by those who were eager to capitalize on the Pilgrimage to Macca.
It' s high time to differentiate the palace and the Mosque under the Messianic title Muhammad.

Mohammed is a self proclaimed prophet. He was a poor man working for a rich wealthy ambitious twice widowed woman called Kadijah. She married him. She was 40 yrs Mohammed was 25yrs. When Mohammed was terrified she told him that he had seen jibreel the angel and he was chosen as a prophet. Kadijah was aware of Judaism and Christianity. She wanted to have power over the qureshi tribe and expand her business she used Mohammed and with her wealth promoted Mohammed as a prophet. The matter for the Quran has come from Waraqah and kadijah they picked text from the Torah and Bible and edited and added few others to benefit them. They used the prophets from Torah and Bible to make Quran look authentic. Read the whole Quran and Hadiths to know Islam better. You yourself will see the truth. Dont go by what I say. Also do question yourself why the 10 commandments are not in the Quran it's there in the Torah and Bible. The commandment says you shall not kill but Quran says kill the non believers. Another commandment says you shall not covet your neighbours goods or wife. But Mohammed coveted his adopted sons wife Zainab got them divorced and married her. Allah was always ready to make new ayah in favour of Mohammed. In General the will of God is done but here Allah(God) was everytime catering to the will of Mohammed. Strange🤔

Just another nail in the coffin for Islam. Nothing matches, nothing seems to be true, just all legend. Doesn't seem that Muhammad even existed.
