I just saw your Animal film review, and I want to clarify your view about cinema. Basically, you don’t question the animal lead character regarding morals, but you questioned the Jigra lead character's morals by saying, "bechara, us island ka kya aur us jailer ki kya galti thi." I mean, I am no one to say you have a wrong opinion, but feel this isn’t an honest review, it's just confirming your biases through a video. When you appreciate a flawed male character I think you should also be able to appreciate a flawed female character.

With movies like this, Bollywood is evolving with better concepts, exceptional acting, and a move away from the typical 'masala' songs. It's exciting to see the industry grow and Vasant Bala is a gem 💜
Alia is undoubtedly a talented actress, but the movie feels incredibly rushed, with events unfolding so quickly that there’s hardly any time to develop a proper character arc. From the very beginning, Alia’s character seems in need of help and rescue more than her brother does. The scene where her father dies right in front of her feels unrealistic, as it’s hard to believe a young girl could instantly understand the gravity of the situation and shield her brother. The plotline lacks depth, but Alia’s performance is still commendable. As a cinephile who’s watched some of the best films, I find my expectations tend to rise, and in this case, the movie fell a bit short. Definitely, not a movie to be watched in the theatre...an OTT release would have been better.
The actor playing the role of Jailer is Vivek Gomber and I'm so happy to see him in mainstream cinema. He has done so many amazing movies in the art cinema space
