- Feenja never belonged to us, she´s been at our place for 100 days.
I took part at an event (2018) with Mustangs here in Germany where 21 trainers had three months time to tame a Mustang mare/gelding.
After the time, you perform on the event, then the horses are selled to their forever homes. These were the rules.
With Feenja it wasn´t easy even though she is not a Mustang who attacks. It´s been very hard to get the connection with her - she had been living 6 years in the wilderness of America. When she came here she was 9 years old, introverted.
The key with her was ... spending time, giving her the trust in humans.
Her trust has been the greatest present she could have given us ♥
She lives at a beautiful home now :)

Wenn ich das richtig erinnere, gibt es einen Festpreis für die Trainer und dann wird gar nicht geboten. Sie haben ein Vorrecht auf den Kauf. Aber es ist ja nicht nur eine einmalige Anschaffung. Ein Pferd kostet jeden Monat Geld und Zeit. Wenn man ihm nicht gerecht werden kann, ist es zwar eine sehr schwere Entscheidung, aber eine Vernünftige.
Es ist so unglaublich wie du mit Pferden umgehen kannst 💕💎
Es ist so schön die Videos anzugucken und man fühlt sich immer so nah bei euch obwohl man so weit weg ist.😍

I understand what it feels like my horse who was my best friend ever and i told everything to that we had an unbreakable bond and i could everything on her cause she trusted me and i trusted her. We were together for years but about 2 weeks ago we had to put her down because she couldnt stand kept falling couldnt go to the bathroom for days and watching ber in pain was the most painful thing i have ever seen. I am literally crying rn and i miss her more than anything in the world. I wish i could have at least 5 more minutes with her😭😭💕💔

WOW, What a wonderful gift you are to these horses that you work with & love so tenderly & gently... YOU make the world a better place and these loving horses NEEEEEED to be loved and cared for and cared about. Your gentleness is obviously felt by these beautiful horse beings. It warms my heart & brings tears to my eyes... the LOVE you share and that THEY feel & respond to.. Wishing you many blessings. I agree, it MUST be difficult growing so close during your training days and then have to send off your beloved horse being friend off to auction... NOTHING can take away the love that you both shared … THAT continues no matter where YOU or THEY go... IT HAS changed their world too. PEACE to you all.... If there was any doubt about the quality of your heart after watching your work with Feenja, your choice of music makes it impossible not to see the beauty within. Almost 65 years old, and still one of the most memorable days of my life, was when a wild and dangerous horse finally realized that I was a friend, and would never hurt him (unless he begged for it) You show the process, but there is a specific moment in time when a horse will look at you, approached you, and admit "I get it!" And from that point on, everything is different...
Me 63 a biker my wife had 3 horses so I bought a 6month sec d cross bit of colour in him took me us 3 yr to back him ride him out he'd splutter n fart 'buck n bog off ' with me on him scared me shitless lots of times 18yrs of every emotion happiness fear love both ways 18yr old he was put to sleep he couldn't stand in a few years the other died i got divorced but you don't move on miss my big mate gunner.

Thats the one thing that breaks my hearts about horses, they get passed along like cars, Instead of being lifetime pets like cats and dogs.
@Lala Cat Because horses are work tool... just kidding, we have only one horse that belongs to one of my daughters. She is the love of our lives. To my wife and me, she is our other kid. She has thought us everything we know about horse, as we new nothing before she came to our lives.

I recently went to one of these competition for mustang's. What they can do with a wild horse is amazing. You did beyond spectacular with this girl. You can tell how much you loved it and her. Keep up the good work.
I am 60. I have worked with Mustang Horses all of my life. Of the closest and most loyal friends I have ever had, were these ...... The Mustang ..... (and a few good dogs 🤠) ..... More loyal and trustworthy than most people.

Wenn man sich so in die verschlossene scheue Feenja versetzt die ihre Herde verliert und mit Flugzeug und Hänger weggebracht wird,dann kommen Menschen die sie allem möglichen für sie gefährlichen sachen vorsetzten und sie macht mit aber ist unsicher. Dann nehmen sie sie mit zurück in die Wildnis, mit einer neuen kleinen Herde und sie lernt alles noch mal ganz neu kennen, das muss so toll sein😍❤

Awww Feenja was a beautiful mare! I understand what it feels like to be forced to separate from your partner and best friend who is a horse on top of that 😭 but in exchange for that now I have a mare that is pregnant, it's a new beginning as you say

How old is Feenja?
The wilderness of America was her home. The BLM has been systematically rounding them up for years and eliminating them or leaving them in long term holding areas without proper food, water, shelter, space. Some have died trying to get free. Feenja is lucky - she survived the roundup (many die, as helicopter chase them, etc), had a chance for a better life, even though the mustangs should be left in their natural state. Unfortunately, farmers and ranchers won't allow that - they want the land. See the link to RTFitch - he and others have been trying to stop the BLM (for years) from destroying the mustang population - and also sending many to slaughter. Made me cry watching this. So beautiful! I love seeing humans being gentle and respectful to horses. I loathe riding schools with horses treated like machines by loads of different riders all day. Feenja is a beautiful girl. Lucky people who have her. But i love that your life has been changed by her. Very special! Thank you!

Viking Dogmanship In the wild after 8 they die out there...hooves overgrown, hungry and tired. They saved them and gave them a batter life by doing this... it’s heartbreaking that the chopper doesn’t always mean someone gonna rescue them. We have to many horses, wild or not.
