- In this video, a 75 years old baba jee is telling his migration story from Rohtak Haryana in India in 1947. Baba jee is telling that they were living peacefully in Rohtak Haryana of India before partition of Punjab 1947. He is telling that now Rohtak Haryana is developed and have a big medical college PGIMS.

My parents and grand parents from Rohtak too, they lived in Qilla in Rohtak. My grand grand parents lived in Rohtak 700 years and than my parents and all our Muslim family migrated Pakistan in 1947.

When Unionist Party came to power in 1937 and 1946 elections in the Punjab , the British ruler thought of not dividing the Province ! But Akali leader Tara Singh (master), real name Nank Chand Malhotra created situation of killings/riotings/lootings and had planned to kill JINNAH. Before that he hacked down Muslim league flag on March 3,1947 .Then things drastically changed over night.

My Nana was from Rohtak as well and moved when he was 12 during partitition. Can you ask Baba Ji or anyone else from Rohtak if they ever knew anyone named Muzaffar Ali Khan, Munawwar Ali Khan, Tahawwar Ali Khan, Mansab Ali Khan, or Qalandar Ali Khan? Birkhu was not bania but he was Brahmin by caste. He used to live in my Mohalla, Tibri Mohalla near Babra Mohalla, Rohtak
What is the difference between Banya and Brahmin?

I am from kolkata, near about 3 years I had stayed in Rohtak for job purpose I had seen many Muslims house 🏡 masjid captured by Hindus,besides ROHTAK railway station a masjid situated but belong by Hindus now a temple... very hurtful

this is haryanvi in haryanvi a large no of urdu words are prevalent even today in this region. i belong to this region. this region even today represents composite culture that evolved during the medival period.
old aged people still use urdu words in my village too.
even in the schools urdu was prevalent at that time. even my village too used to have a sizeable musilm population at the time of partition . even people today used to talk about them. there was instances of conflict but was never communal in nature. it is the physical power that is appreciated in any feudal society.
