The bible (same to the Quran) is a man-made book with man-made wisdom (Kain and Abel) and man-made errors (nothing inspired by any god): + the Earth wasn't there before the sun + Adam and Eve didn't exist + there was no global flood + homosexuality is not a seduction by a satan, but a natural born healthy sexual orientation with an evolutionary meaning + the sky is no dome /vault over the Earth + the sun can’t be stopped for having longer light in a battle, it already stands still + etc etc. If the bible would be the word of god or inspired by god it would be without errors, but it isn't.
Those with eyes to see will see, those with ears to hear will hear. Only through the Holy Spirit it is possible to understand, spiritually, His word. The objective of the word of God is not to be a book of scientific curiosities, instead it is to give salvation to the soul. If God says homosexuality is a sin then it is. An individual will feel deep within them and realize if that act is wrong or not, and they will choose. Those who want to sin, will sin. So the discussion about homosexuality being a sin or not is useless. If one feels, in their particularity, that it is wrong, then they shouldn't do it. And as someone who has felt those kinds of desires (even though I'm heterosexual), I feel that it is wrong, and so woe to me if I engage in it.

I also am in need of someone whom I can love. And I pray that God helps me with that. However, just realizing how great He is, just how beautiful He is, fills me with happiness.

The bible (same to the Quran) is a man-made book with man-made wisdom (Kain and Abel) and man-made errors (nothing inspired by any god):
+ the Earth wasn't there before the sun
+ Adam and Eve didn't exist
+ there was no global flood
+ homosexuality is not a seduction by a satan, but a natural born healthy sexual orientation with an evolutionary meaning
+ the sky is no dome /vault over the Earth
+ the sun can’t be stopped for having longer light in a battle, it already stands still
+ etc etc.
If the bible would be the word of god or inspired by god it would be without errors, but it isn't.
Those with eyes to see will see, those with ears to hear will hear. Only through the Holy Spirit it is possible to understand, spiritually, His word.
The objective of the word of God is not to be a book of scientific curiosities, instead it is to give salvation to the soul.
If God says homosexuality is a sin then it is. An individual will feel deep within them and realize if that act is wrong or not, and they will choose. Those who want to sin, will sin. So the discussion about homosexuality being a sin or not is useless. If one feels, in their particularity, that it is wrong, then they shouldn't do it. And as someone who has felt those kinds of desires (even though I'm heterosexual), I feel that it is wrong, and so woe to me if I engage in it.

If you consider morals being objective and given by a higher god,
meaning they are unquestionable, then you also have to consider the Aztec religion to be true and human sacrifice is the moral right thing to do.
If you consider objective unquestionable divine morals be true, then you cant judge the hor rible things the Na zis did in the geno cide they comitted.
They did it in "order of a higher power", they made that very clear.
In the same way the Hebrews comitted the gen ocide on the Canaanites, in "order of a higher power".
There is no moral difference between the two cases, and one is in your bible.

Christianity and Islam are also man-made religion spread by humans not by god.
There are two dangers and harms in that game:
1 When one man-made religion claims to be the only right one and all others are false.
2 When religions claim their man-made morals are given or inspired by a god and by that unquestionable.
We never got any morals from god, we have to figure that out on our own.
