    Great video - just purchased a Bose T8S as a musician who gigs at private events. Also own a Yamaha mixer which as you say is a great little mixer, great quality sound but somewhat limited. I bought it mainly to interface with a set of Bose F1 speakers I've also just purchased second-hand, so can't wait to hget it all together and see the up lift in quality of my output

      I use the Tonematch1 for my F1 812 with Sub... and I have been afraid to try it since. I turned it up 10% and it shook Pots and pans in the kitchen and everything on the walls, including the doors throughout the house! As long as you run everything to the sub and THEN run the sub into the top. LETHALITY!

    Great Video I DJ and do Karaoke and I had the Mackies then moved to the Yamaha Line went to the T1 and now use the T8 for it's great built in features from Noise gate, compressor, Ex and PARA eQ

    Also use the Tuner to dial in to the Key that is feeding back and then go to the Parametic to dial it down

    Wow, i have two lapel mics which I dumped in the garage because they would not stop giving feedback. So appreciate the wisdom that I can fix this with the right mixer!

    • @djmojoeofficial
      @djmojoeofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea! You can eliminate them. I also heard great things about the QSC Touchmix. Digital mixers allows you more control of the sound

    Most pro mixers have high pass filters on the mic inputs....usually 80 or 100 Hz....not necessary frequencies and cleans up the vocals

    • @DJJASProductions
      @DJJASProductions 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ya, it's a good start, but when you can go so much further as shown on the Tonematch mixers, your sound is so much clearer.

    Hi Dj Mojoe Just want to ask if its better to use the Utility tonematch preset than a Mic vocal present for a Microphone or lapel connections (sample:the brand and name of microphone)

    • @djmojoeofficial
      @djmojoeofficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I think at the end of the day, it just matters how it sounds coming out of your speakers and your preference. Depending on the voice of the person and also considering that there are no feedback issues. For me, I like the use the SM58 tonematch setting for my SM58 microphone

    Revelation noted after spending hours the parametric eq can be zoned in using a keyboard or if you have perfect pitch your ear...once you realize what frequency or we could say key note that is feeding back then bang bring it up on parametric view and back it off. I love the AB back and forth idea also..but with a 3 piece band we have have 7 inputs in operation can be a challenge.

    Great video! I was aware of the T1, but not the T4S or T8S! Do you or DJ Jas have an opinion on how these compare to a tablet-controlled digital mixer such as the Behringer X Air series, Soundcraft Ui series, Mackie DL series, or QSC Touchmix series?

    • @DJJASProductions
      @DJJASProductions 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I have the XAIR 12 Mixer, and it has its own application. I use it often for separate dinner sound systems. The Tonematch offer a more tangible experience than the tablet, so it's generally more efficient, quicker and easier to get going, especially when incorporating it with DJ gear or using it for a Ceremony setup.

    OUTPUTS
    Another difference between the T4S and the T8S are the outputs. The T4S has 1/4” TS/TRS outputs and the T8S has 1/4” TS/TRS and XLR outputs. They also have digital outputs to use for some setups.

    the volume

    There is not one person demonstrating the reverb effect. Is there something wrong with the reverb effect. I mean who teaches these people

    • @djmojoeofficial
      @djmojoeofficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used it an event 2 weeks ago and works great! The client hired a singer from The Voice and worked well. There are different reverb settings you can choose from, too. And on the mixer board, you can always use the FX mute if the person is speaking, instead of singing. Then you can always unmute the FX mute when the person starts singing. Very useful IMO

    How do I know where feedback is coming from during a performance…last nites gig was horrific feedbacking from my too loud 3 piece Irish band

    • @djmojoeofficial
      @djmojoeofficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aw man, sorry to hear that. I don’t think there’s a quick fix for that unless you know which channel/mic is causing it. There may be other factors that created the conditions where it feed-backed. What did you try out to solve it?
      For me, I would isolate each channel, start with my volume low, raise the volume of it to the proper level and if I hear feedback, I would use the Parametric EQ to sweep the frequency range with low DB setting and hear if the feedback goes away.
