he won't want the chipped dagger, probably the mage one though :D (you want super fast OH to attack more and potentially crit more for deep wounds.)

i think you should also mention the damage increase from "Mangle"
which is a +30% damage increase for ALL bleeds on the target
Deep wounds stack but it counts the duration of each time it procs so u might have big number ticks when u crit several times in a row but not for the full duration of deep wounds. So when u didnt crit for the duration of previous deep wound proc and u crit in its last second it wont stack and do the normal % of weapon damage.
Yea, it doesn't do anything to "keep it rolling". It "rolling/stacking" just means you never loose out on the damage. Essentially, just a free 60% critical damage (a bit more if you count Mangle).

just did this with a buddy and great weapons, got nowhere near the parse. was spamming hamstring, queuing heroic, and RBlows off cooldown. am i missing something? copied the same build

More points in deeps wounds just makes bleed damage more you can put the extra points in cruelty for more crit

I was an OT in my large guild in classic which meant I didn’t get Maledath and other weapons until really late so I dove hard into dagger tanking and it was a blast. On the tanking side there are some awesome not well known things with it. I absolutely loved my time with my dagger collection . It wasn’t all wonderful as we know it didn’t scale well for large group multi mob situations though it just took a little finesse. Fun times for sure. I miss my Alcor’s for sure.
Is the two points an overpower really worth it? Wouldn't one point be okay and one point in cruelty? Little bit more crit consistently overall
I got the leech dagger from final boss so I use a giga main hand with leech offhand so wild strikes procs for main hand and then sharpened for off hand. It’s really nice and it adds a lot more rage

I figured this out a while back and I was doing over 200dps on the boss I thought my meter was broken
Dagger Warrior is the most fun thing in classic IMO. Happy that it's viable before max level.
Heroic strike queuing should be paramount in this stage of the game because when it's queued, it allows your offhand weapon to always hit, thus increasing the overall hit/crit chance of the offhand weapon which increases overall throughput deep wounds procs/dps. (This is assuming HS mechanics have not changed since Classic).
You want to stay above 80 rage at all times though, any time below it and you lose 20% DPS. So any time you screw up a HS queue, you are losing even more than normal because of the new rune so unless you are absolutely perfect with it and never mess up a HS queue it's probably not a DPS gain sadly.
@@Tooamazin you want to weave below 80 rage and then back over 80 rage to maintain 100% uptime so if you are rage capped, HS queueing is smart
@@thebirdman6593 You will want to HS every time you have over ~90 rage for actual DPS as well and only need to drop below 80 once every ~15 seconds or so, HS queuing was only an actual DPS increase if you never screwed up. We have WAYYY less gear, WAYYY less stats which means WAAAYY less rage generation compared to even MC. It's almost for sure a DPS loss unless you never mess up a single HS queue.
@@Tooamazin the problem with HS queing in vanilla was that people though of it the wrong way,youre supposed to use it to manage your rage not just a thing you constanly keep doing and hounding over your weaponswing timer just for the OH miss chance. since you want to HS to prevent MH glancing blows.
this is the way all of the actually good warriors did it in tbc,and it was monstrous increase of dmg. you do however need good keybinds for it,i use mousescroll down for HS and V for cancelling(i can easily tap this with my thumb).
ive been HS queing in sod and its mega easy since we have no haste(obv with 2.7 MH,not some stupid double dagger shit,that is just bad),even without windfury it is nearly impossible to screw up and go below 80 rage and lose enrage stacks,with WF its impossible to lose enrage.
remember every enrage procc is 12 stacks,that is 12 autoattacks,that is several seconds,so it is really not that strict at all.

How exactly does this work? Doesn't a new deep wounds proc just override the last one? Or does the previous deep wounds dot just deal all its damage instantly when a new one is applied?
It stacks, all the dots add to eachother give higher and higher dot damage. Old dots will fall of yes but a fast offhand will add new ones faster.

You shouldn't execute until 1-2%, you do more damage doing your 80 rage hover and normal roto

60% of weapons average damage. Bis mainhand is 43-82, avg is 62.5. How tf is his bleed ticking for an average of 269, that scaling is out the wazoo

Idk if I was doing something wrong but I tried this and my deep wound DMG was nowhere near my melee and in video its much more then melee o_O
might just be an uptime on deep wounds thing.. if it drops enough, it won't ever stack up to do crazy dmg.. meaning your melee will just be way higher!
Am I seeing this right. You have sharpening stone on the dagger but nothing on the sword so that you can use wild strikes?
Correct, main hand needs to be clean so that wild strikes can be active.

It’s fascinating how people don’t read the skill description which literally states “your average weapon damage” and they go with, oh it should work with better main hand dmg… it goes better with both highest main plus offhand dmg increase as it averages those
Is it like ignite then ? The stack never falls off so deep wounds keeps on increasing ?
The dots will fall off when the duration ends, but since the offhand procs so fast it will add new dots faster = more and more dot damage

For this setup wich dagger is best of these two? dagger 1, 18.3dps - Speed 1.80. Dagger 2 is 14.6 dps - Speed 1.30
1.30 hands down, the whole idea is to have more OH swings for better proc chance of deep wounds

@biglogszn5880 did boss have faery fire, curse of rec and 5 sunders/humunculi? I think they all stack and without them warr performance is considerably low

Beefy onehander in MH and a dagger in OH because deep wounds dmg scales on your mainhand. Your dagger is just there to proc deep wounds more because faster swing speed

@@jackparker2979 it works like ignite for mages where it stacks but it doesn’t combine and only give it to one person. Everyone has their own, your own stacks in itself, it should be really nice the farther and more warriors there are. I should have specified that distinction.

That crossbow was useless for melee dps. "Ranged attack power" doesn't help melee.

It does with any wep. Buy axes arent as fast as daggers. So daggers are better

How is this even happening? Did they change something behind the scenes on Deep Wounds for SoD, or was this possible all of classic?
Deep Wounds stacked like this til a Lich King patch. It was common to give the Warriors the spore asap in Loatheb so they had 100% crit rate and watch Deep Wounds procs out dps multiple players TOTAL damage

deepwounds was changed every xpac untill wrath when it started stacking infinitely like this and stayed like that forever.
the tbc version was the most infamous since the less deepwounds dmg you had,the better warrior you were. since everytime you reapplied it,it reseted its duration,so cheaters with rigged logs had 0 deepwounds dmg(they rigged their logs so they always had consistent crit for good flurry uptime meaning deepwounds could never tick) and good warriors had few thousand dmg per boss fight.
and in vanilla deepwounds is a super low priority debuff so it gets pushed off the debuff table anyway.
SOD version of deepwounds is some mysterious shit no one knows why it happens,this version has never been in any version of the game(every crit,MH,OH,any spell,applies dot based on MH dmg and it can scale infinite with each dot having their own timer(like wrath deepwounds,ignite,etc))
My guild keeps complaining at me trying to get one hands on my warrior even though its so insane
Because it's level 25 and nobody cares about clearing super fast. We clear it in 30ish minutes with alts in greens. Let the rogue have the 1h sword for leveling, be nice. This is just a meme right now, its no good for PvP, or killing mobs in the world. A 2h will be much better for leveling 25-40. Besides, if you want to do this relatively well, you can do it with the lvl 25 blue sword from WSG Revered (very easy to do) 2.7 speed. Cross Dagger is off the AH.

My guild just destroyed bfd with Greenches
Use the broken pillar for the first boss, Baron. It will help negate the knockback. Tank gets knocked, offtank picks threat. The alternative is the whole group getting knocked off.
Or person with debuff just jumps in water. That’s too complicated for you to comprehend though 😂😂😂

Buy a rage potion and use it on pull.

Hit the boss slightly before the tank and get the first smack to the face. Gonna piss people off, but hey, free rage!

New iteration of vanilla, new ways for warriors to be modern hunters and need on all the loot
Don't play with scummy people. I play a warrior, we do enough damage with a 2h sword and a 2h is much better for pvp and leveling. I don't take ranged weapons, daggers, or leather unless its rot. If a warrior is taking leather, daggers and the gun with 6 agil on it over people who main those items do something about it, don't just complain here. Get the behavior stopped or leave if he is in power.
Don't worry @tuskor130 healing gear is still safe until level 50 diamond flask set. So not ALL gear.. for now
Meh. I just cant bring myself to play this style. Ill stick to swinging 2Handers because thats just my pref.
