I really do like these three fellas. I really like that two of them are from where I grew up in Tennessee. Cocke County I grew up in Bybee. But I'm kind of upset that I wasn't about moonshining by my Uncle cat and Nana. It would have really changed my life

I used to love discovery, history and animal planet growing up. I chose these channels over cartoons. You showed me learning was fun. Shame how the mighty has fallen.
Must be inexperienced moonshiners (doing it so far 2 years) After my runs I get about 120-150 proof on the first Distillation. 160-175 on the second. About a cup of water to proof it down to my typical 90 proof (45%)

then make some, its pretty easy to make it at home and the equipment doesnt cost alot, you dont need an actual still setup for a tiny amount, a pressure cooker and some plastic tubing works.

Tim always has the nicest way of telling the contestants there doing to much when they add fruits and spices.
I love how they didnt send ole buddy home bc it was straight cinnamon, but they sent other ole son home because the challenge was getting to the proof

I’ve over done it with cinnamon too. Rookie mistake. It’s hard imo to get cinnamon to come out in the flavor without adding something with sugar.
Try cinnamon and brown sugar
Yeah, people forget about that when distilling. Sugar gets eaten in the fermentation and stays behind in the distilling.
