DIY - Vespa GTV LED Headlight

- Are you a GTV or a Sei Giorni user and been looking for a LED Headlight? Have you find anything? Not really…
Well I have done my best to change that, I have come up with an LED headlight for the GTV which keeps the classic and elegant look of the Vespa! But with an LED you get the best light possible, great night-time light output and excellent daytime visibility.
Perfect luminous efficiency, a reassuring field of view at night and even increased passive safety during the daylight hours are just a small selection of the advantages provided by modern LED powered headlights.
The LED headlight is equipped with a 'High-Power' LED main/dipped beam and is attached to the scooters wiring loom using the original headlight connection socket. The separate cable can be used for the running light function. Of course, the headlamp has an E-approval and may be used legally in road traffic
(The moment this video was recored there was any LED Headlight assembly option available in the market for this model of Vespa, but I believe there's already an option to plug and play an LED assembly to this bike)

This looks amazing. Great job. I thought the light itself is 7 inches? so it's 5.75 inches to fit it in? Do u have a video showing you removing the factory lens?

Yes it's actually 5.75 inches, not really, it was easy to removed tho, just heated with a heat gun enough to loosen the glue around it and remove it.

Hi dear I have GTV 250 model 2009 and now I face headlight and parking light off not active anymore both and see smoke sean from headlight, what you think the problem??

Mmm very strange! Have you check your fuses? It might be a burn out fuse. I never hear of a problem like this on a GTV, what year is your model?

Thank you brother! The LED it’s water resistant and even more after gluing the acrylic into the housing.
