I’ve now watched several of your videos and I’m loving your channel, man! Subscribed and hit the bell for all notifications! Your videos are so informative and well produced! You’re very personable and have an accessible, straightforward teaching style. Good production values, too! I don’t mind videos that have music in the background but you never know when someone just hates a particular style or genre so kudos to you for just skipping it. Please keep the videos coming!
Nice. When was the last time you got an ad that was for something that was useful for you. The worst sites are the ones that have a small paragraph to read with the rest of the page with just ads. You then must go through multiple pages to read something that should have been on a single page. Also so easy for 3rd party to inject bad code into the ad and boom, they got you.
If you are running pfSense router then better to just install pfBlockerNG module since you can achieve the same as with pihole DNS. But NextDNS provides better blocking overall, has way more options and its easily to use it on mobile devices if you are not at home since NextDNS is cloud service.
@@DigitalMirrorComputing Me, too on pfBlocker. To me, it just makes sense to keep as much network-related stuff as possible within pfSense. Not sure if you’re a self-holster/homelabber (hope so!) but I’d also like to see an HAProxy (in pfSense) video.
Great overview video! Quick and clean.
Thanks! That means a lot! :D

thank you sir
good video. keep it up
Nice video!
For network level blocking have you consider a self hosted instance of pinhole ?
That's a good approach too!
