Cody's Dream Come with Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Cody is a 19-year-old from Charlotte, NC and he is living Down syndrome, Congenital heart disease, and chronic kidney disease. In 2016, he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and evaluated for a heart transplant, unfortunately, he is not a candidate. He has received 3 open heart surgeries and was most recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease.
Despite it all, this sweet young man is full of love. Love for his mom, friends, care providers and Jesus.
Cody is a huge NASCAR fan and in his eyes, there is only one driver… Dale Earnhardt Jr.! His sports dream is to “meet Dale Earnhardt Jr., see his car and watch him race!”

Dale Jr. is a class act.......going to miss watching him race. Been watching Nascar since I was 6-7 years old. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was a rookie then. The only drivers I've ever pulled for have been Earnhardts. Not sure what to do next year....lol

Mike Coppedge I've grown up with Dale Jr watching him race and he's an awesome guy sad to see him go but him and his dads legacy will never fade. Dale Jr and Amy announced they are having a baby girl also so maybe she will be racing when she's older till then well it all depends I think once Jr leaves I'll be going for Chase Elliott he's a great young driver with lots of potential.
