Depending on your router or voice over IP provider, some configuration examples may different.
Because of this I compare two different configurations and explain what settings I had to change in my router.
The N510 is a small business DECT IP phone base station that supports up to 6 SIP phone lines while allowing for 4 simultaneous calls.
For large scale deployments, solutions such as the N870 would be more suitable, because of multicell support.
Overall, I like the N510 base station, despite the fact it seemed to be a bit more complicated to configure, compared to the consumer VoIP products of the Gigaset range.
