      @darkijah-andersjehovahsn7893 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, a lot of times you have a moving wattage and have no clue about it, where you can reconnect the cable and get more Energy moving. Or keep cheap that it is indeed doing 100 watts compared to 66.... Whatever the case, I can see the usefulness of it although I like to have all the plugs of different kinds in the cable itself and this does not do that.

    • @lars2894
      @lars2894 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's handy for devices that do not show charge %, i.e. "dumb" appliances. So you can instinctively unplug a few minutes before the LED display drops to 0W, which will significantly help conserve LiPo battery health.

    Wow, my nerves get a bit shaky when thinking that such a thin cable can pump 100W through it. That can be dangerous if you have an accident with the cable, especially when detaching while all those amperes are flowing.

    • @JoGeoTechlab
      @JoGeoTechlab  ปีที่แล้ว

      @camelCased I'm using the 100W Baseus USB-C cable for more than a year and I can say it is flawless. It doesn't get hot or even warm. I also tested it on 100W charging and pushed it to max stress levels as you can see on the video.
      Bear in mind that a cheap charger or faulty hardware, a high quality USB cable is connected to, can cause an accident.

    • @skypallman6169
      @skypallman6169 ปีที่แล้ว

      What do you mean you get shaky that a small wire can do a hundred Watts like that? Car stereo amplifiers push 600 w through a 16 gauge wire? Lol

    • @camelCased
      @camelCased ปีที่แล้ว

      @@skypallman6169
      1/ An audio amplifier does not push constant amperes - it varies depending on signal levels.
      2/ Wires in a car amplifier system are stationary. Nobody moves them around or bends them often, so there's little chance for them to break and touch something they shouldn't be touching.
      3/ There are only power wires alone going to the speakers. No sensitive low-power data wires nearby. So even if a wire breaks it would only cause a short circuit and blow a fuse.
      The general idea of not only high current but also high voltages in a thin cable can bite hard. I have seen a few videos where people blew up their USB-C powered devices. The + wire with 20V touched a data pin of the USB connector - boom, the "magic smoke" comes out and the device is dead. The problem is that no matter how high quality is the cable, the connection is the most fragile area for all cables, it will inevitably break, not "if" but "when" and "how". If you are lucky, it will not break in a way that it will touch a data wire while charging the device. But Murphy always gets you.
