I have learned/am learning a few languages, and with all of them I've been using comprehensible input as my primary method for learning. And I have to say, across all languages, your channel is the one that I find does the concept of comprehensible input the best. With your gestures, little graphics, props, repetition of words in different sentences, it's truly great! I've found that even when a word is completely new to me, my head doesn't get stuck on it and can just move on in the sentence without loosing track of what you say. Thank you very much for your effort!
I learnt chinese for 3 years but it's been a year since I studied. Your content is a great way to catch up and test my knowledge to see if it's still there. I didnt know where to start studying so I am binge watching your videos while trying to catch my pace with learning ❤
I've watched many different videos that have similar idea as yours, but so far, your style and the way you are explaining is outstanding! You are in the 5% club! Please keep it up lao shi! Xie xie ni!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
First, thank you for all the great videos! I always start and end my day with your videos as a way to ease into my lessons and to end the day ok a fun note! Second… this video made me so hungry and there is a bakery next door to the cafe i watch this in.
Thank you so much for this video! It was really encouraging for me ~ I have been learning Chinese on Duolingo now for almost 4 months, and I was really thrilled that I could understand almost all of your video. You spoke so clearly, and slow enough that everything was very understandable! ❤❤❤😊😊😊 Thank you, it’s so encouraging!, ❤❤❤ wo Ming bai y Dian r duan, Xie xie ni! ❤
@@comprehensiblechinese mmm, that would be hard, lol! 😂 especially for Chinese, it seems that the sentences I learn are very….mm….controlled. For instance, my sister is on Duolingo, learning Japanese, and I have a daughter learning Spanish on it as well, and they both get great conversational sentences to learn, as well as different ways of learning that just aren’t available for Chinese. So, for them, Duolingo is working nicely, but for me, learning the Chinese language, it seems that it’s more limited. All of us are on a family plan and pay for a monthly subscription, too. However, Duolingo doesn’t really give you background information on why a character is the way it is, nor does it tell you what the separate characters are in, for example: zai jian. After looking it up elsewhere, I find that the character for zai means again, and the character for jian means see, and when you put them together, it means goodbye. (Or literally again see). I think it really helps to understand the Chinese language when you can see what the separate characters mean, and what they would translate to separately, as well as understanding the culture more. Also, I really wish they had a comprehensive section on the word le, because it seems to be poked in and around words all the time, and has different meanings according to where it’s put.
I love these taste tasting videos so much you're just giving me more new snacks to try out thank you Laoshi the solid effort of sacrificing your tastes buds is always much appreciated!😄❤❤ #Foodie #Skinnyfat #Kugua🤢🤷🏾♂️😆#foodiesunited #infoodwetrust #Gainweightnothate😂
Hallo SuQing i have subscribed to your members only part of your website, but I see that only the total beginners section is members only and the higher levels have often times no built in vocabulary to english, will this stay that way or will there changes be made?
Hi, thank you for subscribing to my membership. Only my older videos and some of the complete beginner videos have built in vocabulary to English. I won’t put built in vocabulary to English for higher level videos.
Some things are just supposed to be picked up by listening, the more you listen the more these grammar things will make sense (just trust your brain 😅). As a beginner, I wouldn't waste much time on grammar.

我想学闽南语。你知道台语的comprihensible input?谢谢。
我不知道喔🥲没有看到过
Do you ever catch your self talking in your comprehensible input voice during normal conversations?
Yes definitely 😂
"我可以吃辣"。。。哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈啊
谢谢老师,对外国人来说,汉语最难的语法是 怎么用“了”这个助词 。 请问,“他写了50个汉字。” 和 “他写了50个汉字了。” 这两句话有什么求别?
So true! “Le “ seems to be attached at random to almost everything, but then sometimes it’s not. 😅 probably like using “the “ or “a “in English

我去的时候没有地震了,花莲恢复了正常,但是游客很少。
