You can do it! The hard part is learning to change your focus from the front sight to the target...feels very unnatural after an entire lifetime of focusing on the front sight.
Very nice especially at 25yds. I may have missed it but what MOA size was the dot & is it possibly coming in a green dot? Some reds I have to keep on lower setting because of astigmatism blurring. The XD optic cut slides aren't cheap but well done. Thanks. 👍🙏🎯🇺🇸
It is a 3 MOA dot, and to my knowledge is only in red at this time. I have mine set basically just bright enough to see in the bright daylight, which gives me a smaller appearing dot. Smaller dot obscures less of the target and doesn't "wash out" the rings at 25 and 50 yards.
@Halfmilesniper Yep usually I only go about midway in brightness for daylight & less at night. Looked at one 5moa dot & it looked like a pie plate at 20yds. That larger window helps old eyes also. Shake Awake works really well on a nightstand pistol. If I get my glasses on to find it😂 👓. Did earthquake rattle anything in your area? 👍🙏🇺🇸
@Halfmilesniper In Tn we have a few minor ones each month usually under 2.8 but normally don't notice. After it comes out in news then everybody is like Yeah I felt that last night. Nope that was Papaw passing gas😂.
@@billdye3530 Looks like it was a small one, maybe a 3 something, near the Salton Sea. That's about 70-80 miles away, so depending on how deep or shallow the quake was we might barely notice anything. Now big quakes, we can feel those for miles...shoot the Northridge quake and the Landers quake, and now that I think about it even the Loma Prieta quake woke me up...granted the Loma Prieta quake I was only napping.
You should ask your optometrist if you can put their info up I bet there are a few people who would travel to someone that is willing to work with them and specialize in doing it right.
I know there are quite a few eye docs around the country more than willing to do this...you just have to find them. For those in the So Cal area you can contact Redhawk Vision in Temecula, CA and ask for Dr Broyles.
Thanks Halfmile 👍
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed that.
👍👍 looks great, thanks Halfmile
My pleasure! I really appreciate you watching, thanks!
Very nice !
Thank you very much!
Good stuff! I'm close to joining team red dot! 🤷🏼♂️😉
