      @@elliottmargerion9607 Yeah its a great decision I've been in for about 6 months now, about half way through my phase 2 i would recommend to anyone to join just make sure you join the right branch for you. unfortunately i think because of covid there is going to be a much slower recruitment process as so many more people are going to want to join from losing there jobs and the process it self is very slow, took me about 11 months to start basic training after signing up but keep at it im sure you'll get in.

    I failed my interview today. But I’m only 15 (16 in a month) so I’ve got loads of time to do college and then re-apply. Being an Air Engineering Technician is still the job I’m going for and I’m just going to keep trying. If you’re not accepted the first time and you still want to do it afterwards just go for it. That’s the best advice I can give.

      @@estoyvolviendo3511 I’m now in the RAF haha wow completely forgot about this. Just completed my basic training in the RAF. I failed in the Navy because of my lack of preparation for the interview but I’m glad as it wasn’t entirely for me. But my advice still stands so go for it.

    Good video. It says the role I'm applying for is upto the age of 39. Will I be thrown out after I'm 39. Currently im contemplating it. I'm 28 now but I wanted to stay in as long as possible.

    • @editin5215
      @editin5215 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      No, it means you need to attend training by the age of 39, for example, RAF & Navy Pilot you need to attend training before your 25th birthday as you learn easier from a younger age. You will see pilots a lot older than 25! The short answer to your question, no you won't be 'thrown out' at 39.

    • @AidenHarrison-bu3so
      @AidenHarrison-bu3so 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can and you can't it depends on the strength of the glasses the only way to find out is to go and ask or find out at the medical

      I’m pretty sure you can, as long as they’re making your vision 100%. I need glasses for long distance but I’m applying for the navy soon. Thinking of getting the LASIK surgery, it sounds quite practical.

      Hey man, recently passed my pjft. I definitely recommend running/jogging as often as possible, road or treadmill is fine.
      When completing the test on treadmill, I personally ran set speeds until certain distances (e.g 10mph until 1st mile, then 11mph until 1.25mile). Also, dont try and run fast to begin with as you’ll tire yourself. Hope this helps and good luck! ⚓️

    I enjoyed this till the crap at the end about wearing Ann Summers underwear.... the suppressed giggle showed a very childish and immature individual, HMS Raliegh training is supposed to eradicate that type of behaviour, seems to have failed with this one! Hope he's grown up a bit since this video was uploaded.
