Seeing as how this reel is more budget friendly, I would recommend the Sellus rod series. If you are willing to spend a few more bucks, the Clarus rod series is great for the $79 price point. If you went with the Sellus, you could potentially have the entire setup for around $100 as long as you found one or the other on sale.
I had a 5000 size of the previous nexave and used it only for saltwater fishing... As long as you clean it with fresh water after the use, should last you a good time of use... Nice reel for the price, can't wait to try this new model.
I'd echo what Ivan said. I feel like any reel is salt water suitable as long as you aren't submerging it. Clean it with some fresh water to get the salt off the outside of the reel after the use and you'll be good to go. Sorry for the delay in response.

Surprisingly no, it doesn’t feel cheap at all in my opinion.

Its normal. In my opinion the manufacturers have been slowly getting rid of that feature in the past years

They are that price locally at my tackle shop, but a quick google search shows that tackle warehouse has them for the $49 price point as well.
