Like the Pixel 6a, this smartphone's camera can handle low light conditions and sharp contrast. It's not quite as good with moving subjects but overall it's one of the best cameras on a Nokia phone. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 powers the Nokia X30 5G, so gamers can blaze through Call of Duty and Genshin Impact (on lower graphics settings). Battery life is also pretty good, helped by that chipset and the stock Android vibe.

Nokia has always done a great job. This one was pretty good too . Hope it keeps along the way of progress.
The Nokia X30 is probably the best Nokia device released by HMD till date. Built quality ,choice of material and hardware and even software is in harmony. Only thing is the lack of 4K recording and maybe wireless charging. I compared the images to Nokia 9 Pureview and Nokia 8.3 5G in my channel and results are pretty good.

@@Dark_Wizard_of_Mu Maybe at this price you will find a Xiaomi or Poco smartphone with higher performance, but to be honest their OS sucks and a lot of bloatware.
Typing this comment from Nokia 6.1 (2018), which was a very budget phone with a metal body. It still works fine. Costed me around 90$.
During 2018 Nokia made some amazing launches like you've mentioned(6.1), I had bought Nokia 7 plus around the same time and it was a great phone but now Nokia just puts a high price but lack of specs for the price range like the x30 is fine but the processor is not up to the mark, it doesn't even support 4k recording only 1080p30 and scores come around 380k

@@SirFaceFone It sure looks like they threw out the old book, and started again, or maybe the requirements for 5G were such that they could not get away with cheap, poor quality processors... Oh, and by the way, Google itself has a whole slew of new requirements for manufacturers if they want to continue the Google way...

@TwinTurbo Ray yeap phone was still Nokia and software was Microsoft with Microsoft brand on it cause the bought them. Microsoft Should keep Nokia in the for front with Nokia name and that all Microsoft had to do is keep up. The only problem was the App platform. They refuse to get that right even when the went to straight Microsoft phone and Apps was there down fall. I did like Microsoft phone but yeah I miss "the original Nokia" 😢

I am a fan of Nokia but SD695, no stereo speakers and no headphone jack or sd card for 400£ is a turnoff for me. This should cost 300£ at most

I'm kinda afraid to switch back to nokia now. Bought one around 1.5 years ago for my mom and it wasn't a good experience at all. It was mostly the software. The phone wasn't stable at all. It would freeze and restart while watching youtube! Some people mentioned they used low quality cheap ram. Nokia doesn't seem to be a priority for Google either. The updates are so delayed! After a while , the power/lock button stopped working too! This guy reviewed that same phone on his channel and said it was a good phone but clearly you have to use it for a while as a daily driver to really know if the phone is worth buying

Great, start from nokia 5 then nokia 5.4 and next i decide to nokia x30
I wish they could just throw the software for this onto the XR20 so the durability (concrete dropping level certified), the stereo speakers, wireless charging, and the microSD slot of the XR20 in particular would be available but with the Pureview, dark vision, etc making the camera software better. The processor and GPU of this are improvements, too, on top of the software, but it's like they can't stand to actually give you a phone that has it all, even for a bit more. Come on, Nokia!
Edit: 8:42 is my feeling when I go past the "i" as well, even in my head without saying it out loud. Wouldn't dare call it a hardship, but I do wish they'd disappear from the planet all in all.

As soon as I hear mono speaker it just makes me turn my back straight away, I've damaged my hearing enough I need the extra speaker. Plus many offer a decent duel speaker set up and will sound better than that for alot cheaper

I was planning on replacing my mate 20 with the X30 until I saw the benchmark scores. The Mate 20 has more performance under its belt compared to the X30. Well, I'll replace the battery and use it for a while I guess.
The X30 is faster than my S10e in real life even if the benchmark scores are similar, if you want it go for it. Benchmarks mean nothing +phones get slower with time even if benchmarks don't necessarily change
I have the same dilemma. Also mate 20 for last 4 years. It's surprising how some phones have only improved slightly.
Looking at the vivo x80 pro but availability from local stores suck.
