So glad to see a video which is not just a clickbait and actually teaches you something without any bs
Well done🔥
To add, when making these adjustments on the curve hold SHIFT while moving a point to only move vertically, hold ALT to make the movement in all directions slower making it easier to fine tune(tone) and use ALT+SHIFT to move slow vertically only.
Wow bro how calmly and organized way you explain these curves you get one subscribe bro please don't judge yourself from view's you are amazing
This was super easy to understand and really helpful. Thank you!

this was so helpful. I always knew the basics about the tone curve and also knew about the s-shape, but I never realised that the bottom left are the depths and the top right the highlights
Thank you so much for showing me how to use the tone curve. Like you said in the video I was a little intimidated by it as well because I didn't understand it, but now I think I can safely say I'm more confident after watching this video! 🙏

As a new photographer, I have NOT touched this because I just did not understand it. This is the absolute best video I’ve seen when it comes to explaining it! I feel 100x more confident going in and playing with the curves now 😭
Very easy to understand video. I learnt something too about the separate colours of the tone curve that I don’t touch.
Thanks man! And glad you even picked something up!

Great vid as always mate.
Probably a silly question so apologies, when in the editing process do you use the curves?
I normally start with the auto then tweak from there
Thnks
great video! earnt my sub!
Thanks so much Jack! Glad you liked it!
It's time to get to know and like with tone curve 😅
Ayee nice mic bro 😆
Haha thanks bro! It’s pretty good for the price hey. They also just had it office-works so I couldn’t resist 😭
The sliders underneath the curve are good for adjusting the sort of bias of the curve between each point, the gradation between shadows/mids/highlights, which you can't do solely by manipulating the positions of the points without adding more between them.
Good explanation though, particularly with the colours in the rainforest.
Came here from your Insta handle. Great content! You deserve way more subscribers here.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate that. Plenty more videos to come 🙂
ok got it
I used to hate tone curve haha thanks
