I know, I feel the same way. Makeup like this is why I've given up so many times over the years and thought it was just me, sucking at makeup.

The Khaki is the nicest, but apart from the jewel and nude obsessions, I find her obsession palletes have confusing colour stories.
I bought the Pastel Lilac since it is the only one in which there is a lot of actual lilac shades lol the Mint and Rose ones were so confusing and did not caught my eye. If you go with a theme, go all in. That's why the Haze collection feel out of place in my opinion...

OMG to be honest I love the Purple Haze. The Kahki Haze is pretty as well. All of the looks were Gorgeous.

Hey great Video🌸 I ordered the khaki and the purple haze. I love them both 😍 but the khaki one 😍😍😍 this colorstory is so different and this colors I haven’t in my eyeshadow galerie.

I would get mini Retro instead.

I have mini retro and I don't think they look similar really. The idea is similar but the colors are extremely different.

Khaki haze needs more khaki honestly. She missed the mark there imo.
The Khaki Haze has no green shades at all. At all.
Why does she always throw in a pink in everything? She missed a good opportunity to make a bombass mossy green palette.

@@trevordonaldson7634 - Yes, you're right. I always considered khaki to be some sort of greenish, though but it's more earth coloured.
I love olive and swampy greens and fact is that we have browns galore. Do we really need more of that?

I wasn’t even thinking about the sand or purple because of the comparisons, but I doubt I’ll get the khaki either! I knew I was waiting until after reviews anyway, and I sure appreciate your thoughts!

I should have waited for this video before buying the sand and khaki palettes! Used Sand the other day and I thought I had done something wrong. All of the colours became one and no glitter or shimmer left on my eye... Great review, thank you!

I was just whelmed by this collection.. Not over or under lol. I did get the khaki palette and I liked it. I made a cute look but I haven't been motivated to pick it up since. I may play with it again today bc you inspire me as an awesome makeup artist as well as just being a great human being overall !! ❤️ I didn't get Sand or Purple bc after seeing how similar Light Nude was and bc that's the only other mini I have I passed and even tho I love Purple shadows I just felt like it wasn't anything groundbreaking.

Thanks for the honest review. I was sort of thinking of getting the Khaki one but now, I think I can dupe it out with singles I have from Makeup Geek and Colourpop and they will probably perform better.
The Khaki Haze palette was so hard to work with and then the color faded half way through my work day!!! I ended up with sheer spots where I had darkened the outer corner. The shimmers are so finicky, especially on a mature hooded lid. I think there might be similar matte colors in your Sydney Grace, Tiny Marvels palette that would give me the same look. It’s going back and I’m going to keep loving your palette!! 😊❤️
The grungy look from the green palette is the prettiest
Huda’s silicone & sponge tip applicator tool works really well for her more glittery/topcoat shades! It was my first time purchasing a Huda palette (Mostly bc I heard a lot of hit and miss reviews) & there was a huge difference between trying to use my regular brushes or finger as opposed to that little applicator.
They sell similar tools on Amazon for much less money, but the quality of the Huda one is actually pretty sturdy and nice.
I can only speak for the Khaki palette, though!

For myself, I have been fortunate enough to have really good experiences with the HUDA eyeshadow palettes, except for the for the neon orange obsession palette (, which was a gift from my daughter. It was the formula.I still feel that HUDA has gotten scrutiny that other beauty brands get passes , even praise for. I just I’ve just seen that a lot from different TH-camrs give the reviews. Redundancy in collections, I see a lot from a lot of brands.. I don’t know if it’s a method to their madness or not.it’s just my personal opinion , observation. I think it was a good idea in theory when you come out with a smaller versions of some palettes to the Mercury retrograde, or a Dessert Dusk, or New Nudes , or the Rose gold remastered palettes .Smaller mini palettes for me is convenient for travel, and then some people just like smaller pallets for touch ups. I appreciate that she does try to appeal to consumers like myself who want is for the smaller pallet to match the formulation and consistency of the larger pallets. I watch many TH-camrs and I have friends who, say they want to add it to the collection, or support the “Brand”. To the HUDA brand credit, I’ve noticed she keeps trying, innovating and others do follow I’ve and she’s not afraid to put herself out there , with a hit or miss but she keeps going forward. That being said, I agree with you Mel ,that you want to feel like you’re getting your moneys worth as a consumer, even if it’s something like the bite-size three dollar shadows like ELF eyeshadow quad which is a really good product.I wish she would just make the business decision going forward to just make all of the mini pallets in Italy even if they are redundant. Because we can find it’s and misses are found in every brand .I want to try that khaki palette for myself and hopefully it’ll work out for me. I would love to see her come out with a large size khaki palette that is made in Italy that would be phenomenal with formulation,Take care And keep up the great work.🙏😷💖🌅

Omg I thought it was just me!!! Agh...I love these colours & wanted this palette so bad but nothing I was doing would work! Will try using it again, but not when in a rush to get out the door lol! Was going to get the Naughty palette but now I’m really unsure!!
I actually understand Pat McGrath’s signature color being gold. Her brand is all about opulence and no color says that more than gold.🤷🏽♀️

Dear Mel, thanks for nice and informative video! I like all the looks. You would not believe - I do not have New Nude palette, neither I have Nude Obsession minis (I could not decide between light and medium). :-) Because I have quite a lot of khaki colors (they suit me very well), I was drawn to the Sand Haze palette the most. But I was confused that all the looks with it on the net, or even swatches look too red. In your video I saw that it need not happen (probably). Also the purples look mostly deadly cool on me, but Purple Haze looks like it might suit me too. Khakis are no doubt. So, actually, you made me want all three!!!

Also I got the khaki haze palette and was disappointed that it turns out a lot less green then I thought it would be. Is there a better olive green palette out there that you would recommend?
I bought the Morphe 9 pan Khaki palette and I'd be interested to know what you thought in a comparison with Huda's especially as the Morphe is so much cheaper!
I didn’t have problems using the khaki but it disappeared in a few hours. I never use a base with Huda’s shadows but never had that problem before.
Mel I would be over the dang moon if u would make a ear video! Talking about what to look for when tryin to find a place to get ur ears pierced like ur cartilage. Eveything!

I have extreme hooded eyes it just runs in my family period, but thats y I focus on the complexion mostly. I still wear eyeshadow and love eyeshadow but it takes a lot to get me excited about eyeshadow. Plus is has to be effortless for me as well. Me havin extreme hooded eyes is also y I get bummed out when a video is just about eyeshadow 🙄😏 also I think its bc I just love watching a full face application of old or new makeup. Its fun and u learn more and more even if its the same way all the time it sticks that way. Idk just sayin 🤗💘

I bought the khaki palette and I'm also underwhelmed, even though the colors are gorgeous. When I think about it I really only wanted a few shades especially the green, olivey shades so I'm debating about returning it and getting something else. Also, I feel like a glitter bomb exploded on me when I used it, work in progress! Thanks for the review!
I'm REALLY wanting olive greens and warm browns for fall. I've been leaning towards the melt cosmetics gemini palette. It's pricier, but has those colors and is better quality.
