I bought the Pastel Lilac since it is the only one in which there is a lot of actual lilac shades lol the Mint and Rose ones were so confusing and did not caught my eye. If you go with a theme, go all in. That's why the Haze collection feel out of place in my opinion...
Hey great Video🌸 I ordered the khaki and the purple haze. I love them both 😍 but the khaki one 😍😍😍 this colorstory is so different and this colors I haven’t in my eyeshadow galerie.
Thanks Mel for your review and feedback. I totally agree with you and think that we can save our money if we have the other palettes. There’s so many new products that are constantly coming out and we have to be picky on what we decide to spend our money. 😊❤️
Girl how did I miss this yesterday! I do like the sand one but I had some Huda before and never used them so gave them away. Absolutely love seeing the looks you create! Beautiful Mel💕. Hope you’re having a terrific day💕💕💕
I bought the Khaki Haze as soon as I saw it because that gorgeous color story sucked me in. Thank you for your brilliant review - I’m going to return it unused now.
Thank you so much for this video Mel.🙏These are beautiful pallets. For myself, I have been fortunate enough to have really good experiences with the HUDA eyeshadow palettes, except for the for the neon orange obsession palette (, which was a gift from my daughter. It was the formula.I still feel that HUDA has gotten scrutiny that other beauty brands get passes , even praise for. I just I’ve just seen that a lot from different TH-camrs give the reviews. Redundancy in collections, I see a lot from a lot of brands.. I don’t know if it’s a method to their madness or not.it’s just my personal opinion , observation. I think it was a good idea in theory when you come out with a smaller versions of some palettes to the Mercury retrograde, or a Dessert Dusk, or New Nudes , or the Rose gold remastered palettes .Smaller mini palettes for me is convenient for travel, and then some people just like smaller pallets for touch ups. I appreciate that she does try to appeal to consumers like myself who want is for the smaller pallet to match the formulation and consistency of the larger pallets. I watch many TH-camrs and I have friends who, say they want to add it to the collection, or support the “Brand”. To the HUDA brand credit, I’ve noticed she keeps trying, innovating and others do follow I’ve and she’s not afraid to put herself out there , with a hit or miss but she keeps going forward. That being said, I agree with you Mel ,that you want to feel like you’re getting your moneys worth as a consumer, even if it’s something like the bite-size three dollar shadows like ELF eyeshadow quad which is a really good product.I wish she would just make the business decision going forward to just make all of the mini pallets in Italy even if they are redundant. Because we can find it’s and misses are found in every brand .I want to try that khaki palette for myself and hopefully it’ll work out for me. I would love to see her come out with a large size khaki palette that is made in Italy that would be phenomenal with formulation,Take care And keep up the great work.🙏😷💖🌅
I bought the Morphe 9 pan Khaki palette and I'd be interested to know what you thought in a comparison with Huda's especially as the Morphe is so much cheaper!
OMG Buttercup I know how much work and time and pain had to go into this video and I appreciate it AND you saved me again...won't be getting these, they sure looked beautiful when you were done though :D Love you!
If you're wanting it for the olive and warm brown tones, the melt cosmetics gemini palette has those in spades, is better quality, and you get more shadows. It's pricier, but it seems like a better trade-off.
@@BubblyViolin11 Thanks for the suggestion. I already have Melt's Gemini & Kaleidos' Sci-Fi Green palettes. The Huda Khaki Haze palette seems even more muted/gray than the two I mentioned, so I'd be interested in something along those lines.
@@IxziRose There really aren’t many palettes with Khaki shades, they are usually emerald or lime. The melt smoke palette is fine but it really could use a metallic khaki .
Mel great eyeshadow tutorial. So relaxing to watch you apply eyeshadow and calming music. I think these are a no purchase. Tiny Marvels it is. Thank you⭐
Thanks for your honest review of the haze collection Mel. I have almost all of Huda’s eyeshadow palette’s except for the pastel collection. I’m kinda torn about this one. You slayed every look as always.
Thank you so much for the review. I was planning on buying the Khaki haze but I do not want to be spendung that much time only with the crease so they are a skip for me!
i love my khaki haze palette. i also have the sand haze and i like that one too. they were gifted to me. the khaki haze palette looks amazing on you and your lip color is stunning!!! you always look stunning, babygirl. 😘🎨🤎 your music in the background is always so soothing.

Another great review! Thank you, now I know, that I won’t pick up any of these palettes... I was eyeing the Sand Haze palette because I love the color story. But it turned out way too reddish, what does make me look like I‘ve cried for three days straight... 🙈
I was just whelmed by this collection.. Not over or under lol. I did get the khaki palette and I liked it. I made a cute look but I haven't been motivated to pick it up since. I may play with it again today bc you inspire me as an awesome makeup artist as well as just being a great human being overall !! ❤️ I didn't get Sand or Purple bc after seeing how similar Light Nude was and bc that's the only other mini I have I passed and even tho I love Purple shadows I just felt like it wasn't anything groundbreaking.
Thank you,Mel,for your honesty! I stopped buying Huda's pallettes because these eyeshadows fade on me very quickly. Huda's pallettes are all very beautiful, but I want my shadows to last longer than a few hours.
Olive is definitely your color. It looks gorgeous on you even if you had to work for it. Oh and that sweater 🥰 Where did you get it? You always have such cute tops.
Thanks for the honest review. I was sort of thinking of getting the Khaki one but now, I think I can dupe it out with singles I have from Makeup Geek and Colourpop and they will probably perform better.
They looked amazing on your eyes Mel. Super sultry and Smokey. 😻 My fave was the Khaki one too but I could tell you were having an issue but the looks came out beautiful none the less. 💓
The looks you created are beautiful as always Mel. I’m just not loving these palettes. I’m passing on these. I prefer the medium nude palette by huda. That’s one of my favorites.
I should have waited for this video before buying the sand and khaki palettes! Used Sand the other day and I thought I had done something wrong. All of the colours became one and no glitter or shimmer left on my eye... Great review, thank you!
I noticed they are made in China these palettes and I have the Khaki and found it is soooo powdery so you have to be so careful. I like the finished look too But.....I am thinking of returning it. Thanks Mel🌹🌈
Dear Mel, thanks for nice and informative video! I like all the looks. You would not believe - I do not have New Nude palette, neither I have Nude Obsession minis (I could not decide between light and medium). :-) Because I have quite a lot of khaki colors (they suit me very well), I was drawn to the Sand Haze palette the most. But I was confused that all the looks with it on the net, or even swatches look too red. In your video I saw that it need not happen (probably). Also the purples look mostly deadly cool on me, but Purple Haze looks like it might suit me too. Khakis are no doubt. So, actually, you made me want all three!!!
The Khaki Haze palette was so hard to work with and then the color faded half way through my work day!!! I ended up with sheer spots where I had darkened the outer corner. The shimmers are so finicky, especially on a mature hooded lid. I think there might be similar matte colors in your Sydney Grace, Tiny Marvels palette that would give me the same look. It’s going back and I’m going to keep loving your palette!! 😊❤️
Also I got the khaki haze palette and was disappointed that it turns out a lot less green then I thought it would be. Is there a better olive green palette out there that you would recommend?
I grabbed all 3 palettes but haven't used them yet, this is disappointing to hear! Now to decide to return or not? 🤔 Love the Halloween decor Mel! Im ready for spooky season! 🎃👻

I was soooo dead set on getting that Khaki palette because that colorstory... 👩🍳 💋 But I’ll just try to dupe it with some singles I already have in my collection
If I am paying for a palette I want to be able to use it as is with brushes and not have to bring in fingers, liquids, special primers, etc. to make them work. That is just me but I, personally, do not have time for all that. *shrug*
I don't love having to use my fingers but the metallic/shimmer formula typical of huda palettes makes it worth it. They go on evenly with a finger and last for 16+ hours on my oily (but primed) hooded eyelids. It's a small tradeoff since most metallics fade or crease on me.
Not surprised after reading the reviews on Temptalia 😏 But I appreciate the honest review, so difficult to find these. I know that I can always count on it here 👍
I wasn’t even thinking about the sand or purple because of the comparisons, but I doubt I’ll get the khaki either! I knew I was waiting until after reviews anyway, and I sure appreciate your thoughts!
As always professional review! Highly apriciate. When I saw new Haze collection was into Khaki mini palete. After watching this review I'm more into medium and rich nude palette as I'm very happy owner of light. Thank you!
Thank you for a great and informative review 💕. The only one that was a bit interesting to me was the Khaki, but no, I don't need it. The struggle was real for you with the purple shimmer shades! I was like "Oh no, this is not going good" I almost got a bit stressed 😂
Huda’s silicone & sponge tip applicator tool works really well for her more glittery/topcoat shades! It was my first time purchasing a Huda palette (Mostly bc I heard a lot of hit and miss reviews) & there was a huge difference between trying to use my regular brushes or finger as opposed to that little applicator. They sell similar tools on Amazon for much less money, but the quality of the Huda one is actually pretty sturdy and nice. I can only speak for the Khaki palette, though!
I've been waiting for your review of these bc I wanted the Khaki one too lol. Mel can you do an updated video of your favorite eye brushes, you use to talk about each brush during application which was helpful for those of us looking to purchase new brushes to see application and brands with names of brushes so just wondering if you could give us an update of which ones and why you like them best. 😁
Mel, that eye look is gorgeous!! What a shame the quality isn't there. I would totally get the Khaki haze but since your review I will pass. I love what I learn from you!!

Where was quality control on these? I'm disappointed as I was going to be buying the khaki palette, it looks gorgeous. But I've watched you and Tara Lynn both having issues, so I'm not going to bother. Had Huda nailed the formulas I feel the khaki palette would have sold out in hours. The other point is, future Huda releases will be eye suspiciously. Her next release has to knock it out of the park, otherwise she will lose her reputation. Sad really, as this was totally avoidable. I'm so grateful for your reviews, my choices depend on them. Thank you Mel, 💗💜💗
Honestly there is nothing special about the kahai Expect the middle row. I was expecting more green /green brown/golden. Otherwise it seem like a normal everyday palette
Nice looks, but don't want to have to work so hard to get it! Oh, I don't know if you saw or not, but I tried to let you know that the Tom Ford COCOA MIRAGE palette was back in STOCK!! Beautylish had it and I was able to snag one before they disappeared. Not sure what was up with that since it's discontinued but mine is on the way to me. Sorry, but I tried to let you know!
If Mel had to spend 10 minutes on just the transition crease shade, the rest of us mortals have no hope.

Well said, my friend! Well said!
Honestly there is nothing special about the kahai Expect the middle row. I was expecting more green /green brown/golden. Otherwise it seem like a normal everyday palette
@@whogreen992 you're absolutely right, but to have a cohesive palette work well, would have been great. xx
@@jennifertrammel9112 oh my goodness, thank you 💗
Ok I just came to the conclusion that OLIVE GREEN is your color. You look absolutely amazing! Stay blessed and safe, Latina 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Omg! That’s ok! I’m glad you got one! That’s amazing!!!! I have a few backups, so I’ll be ok 😍😍😍😍
I have my 👀 on the Khaki Haze palette!
