Funny enough, not even joking...as your ships systems shut down, my TH-cam app crashed on my phone, just turned off. Had to go to my "history" section to find and finish this video.

so pyro actually has a sun that is actually a sun and not a 2D circle like in Stanton lol
Seems so, I couldn't tell for sure because the glair was too bright as you can see... it's smaller compared to Stanton. Flare was pretty weak than I exepted as well.
it has corona and flare, there should be no need to make it physically since ship should get destroyed by it in too close distance, but sun in SC is actually the light emitting source of all light everywhere ... unlike regular map games which use all kinds of light sources but the sun
To be fair, from space our sun actually looks like a 2D white circle. Not very cinematic tho', I agree :D
@@clementflodrops9945 i agree, all what CIG has to do 8n future is better glowing round ball similar to dying star and make ships glow like from salvaging then burn and explode in too close proximity

I did something similar where i had to jump right pass the sun during a flare but I was able to miss it by getting out of the area it was affecting.

at lest radiation isn't in the game, so when that comes, we might be in more trouble.

an actual solar flare would instantly vaporize you.Also the effects were pretty meh.
@voxdeus agreed, I was hoping to see some damage to the ship. At least some charing on the outside...
Still, this is just the tech preview. So the effects could be more deadly when it hits PTU.

This is why I come to the comments. I missed that. Must be for testing purposes on the EPTU.
This was on pyro test Sever, if I have to assume, ship stats was adjusted to suit Pyro because it is quite large compared to Stanton. CIG said in the past that fuel will last longer when the PU get more systems and they will do more rebalancing passes.

@davidblaze8847 dude, it is the best ship ingame IMO, as in value per $. This is my stater and has been with me all these years. It is the best runaround ship in game. Also, have 1x size 4 and 2 x size 3 hard points, so it even out gun a gladius. At the current value (60$ I believe), it is really good ship to own. Can get them ingame on new deal shipyard aswell. Under a million aUEC, so you can get one that way and test it out.
Another way to waste my time in SC. Next patch, I'll eat a burrito and will end up in the toilet for an hour and there goes my gaming session lol.
