Yeah good vid, you may have forgotten, overlooked, or haven't watched the bdl tutorial the ouer clutch plate in meant to be a steel 👍 I've just picked up a good 2nd hand one (same) about to fit 👌KEEP the vid, s comin
Dry clutches are pretty rare even on choppers. However a lot of custom bikes like choppers and bobbers use an open belt primary drive which uses a dry clutch. So the percentage of choppers with dry clutches is higher than the percentage of other bikes
@@jaimetumtum81able the springs seemed to be in good condition and the groves pressure plate didn’t worry me a whole lot. But if it becomes a problem I’ll turn it down smooth in a lathe and see if that fixes it before I replace it
"...difference twice as many teeth...maybe different model" ... "these are all wallered out". Put 2 and 2 together my man. Once they're all "wallered out", take it apart and move to the fresh set of cut outs.
Last one in the stack is always a steel against the plate. And always use red locktite on a bdl

How do you seat it on your clutch? I’ve collapsed my cable adjuster all the way and backed my screw all the way out. But my pushrod is still engaged
What makes you think it’s engaged? Can you elaborate?

Your supposed to soak the plates in type F tranny fluid for 5 min. Stand on edge overnight. Wipe off excess then install. Instructions for dry clutch.
WRONG WRONG WRONG Never ever ever run your pressure plate against a friction!!!! Your MISSING the final steel.
And that's why his pressure plate looks like a record album
fact whether its a shovel or a sporty always start n end with a steel, might as well get a new pressure plate they're around $70 and worth the money
Ok I'm ready to run for president
