Wow Shane spot on! I’ve just filmed a repair like this and thought I’d see if there’s any other vids covering this subject and you hit the nail on the head with this explanation Pretty much to the script of how I repaired my deep dent Hope your well and il check out your other content! Martin
Get a piece of solid copper wire, bend it the way you need. Tape it, the most of the wire. It takes time to shrink a dent, but its doable. After you're done, spray it using a straw on your anti-corrosion can.
One day maybe you will realize that people that have done this for 25 years and have taught hundreds of people actually know what they are talking about
I’m new to the power pdr box. And, have been doing steel at 2.5 +/- using a rubbing motion. What voltage are you using with your tapping method? Thanks!
Hey 618! I hesitate to tell this, but I was at 4-4.5 on power. Your strikes have to be super quick. My theory is that the higher voltage shrinks “harder” in tiny areas, drawing it up better. This is totally a theory though. I normally go around 3 on the setting on steel. This one was as much of a test as anything to be honest. Wholesale unit, if the paint burned in a few spots they were ok with it. It was so mangled and stretched I chose to go crazy with the heat.
That's because he shares with us the "real deal" no music or nonsense just the fix we were all looking for, good on him.
Don't care about production value. What we have here is priceless information. Thank you sir.
Most welcome.
No need for flash, just great info. Thanks for the help
I like that your videos are not flashy and over the top. Content is where the value lies. Not in the long annoying introductions.
Excelente explicación!!!! Saludos desde Argentina 😉👍

Thanks for including the ladies and for the great tips!
I use stainless steel knockdown when working on stretched dent, like pdr finesse sells.
Great vid. I need to grab tips for your hammer. Awesome hammer. Was just using her to blend a oil can into a door.
Great explanation, I need to buy a PDR box
That's bad ass Shane . I'm in the world of hurt with these stretch dents..
What if oil can dent is behind a brace or other wise inaccessible by the PDR box? Conventional repair?

How to fix a strech dent When it is not on free sheet metal without the possibility of using pdr power boxe
Shane miss your show thanks for the video
Thank you Shame Jacks
You're welcome.
gracias
Shane thanks for the tip . Most of my dents would be under braces or no access. That's my luck
HA!!! Sounds like my luck. Can't win em all. Hope this helps on a non-braced up dent in the future.
