I have a couple of these with the fire dot and they are a top scope for their price range and I like them almost as much as my VX6’s for the price range. Been buying leupold scopes for over 50 years and for the price range they are the best hands down and I can say that because I have owned all the other high end scopes over the years

Most of my rifles have leupold scopes. I used to be a FFP fan but now switched to SFP raticle. Most of my hunting is within 300 yards so l don't need a christmas tree raticle. A TMOA or a Windplex suits me just fine.

Great scope and I must say that was great shooting with the Kimber. I own an 84m select grade and I do know that how difficult these lightweight rifles can be to shoot accurately.

You’ve got to have Leupold etch a custom dial for you. CDS iS at the heart of the scope. When you’re out there in the field and you get a range on your animal, just one twist of the dial puts you right on target - no dope card, no futzing with the reticle.

Yeah but what happens if they discontinue the ammo you set it up with or you change ammo? Rather dial my own dope for every rifle and ammo the scope is sitting on.

I have one on my Remington 700 SPS Varmint .22-250, 26" heavy barrel. The scope is so clear in low light.
BTW, the 30mm tube allows for greater windage and elevation adjustments. It doesn't increase the field of view.
That's controlled by magnification. You're field of view, FOV, is greater at 4x than at 15x.
