Great test jig - it sure sparked my interest! .The only thing to improve it, in the future, might be to include the proverbial " Flux Capacitor" (lol).
THANK you Again sir, for another video...home made diagnostic tools are the best, years ago I made a 4 foot tall Manometer for 4 cylinder engines with 4 carburetors, using ATF because its pink, and because of the sizing of tubes I used I ended up with a meter/gauge that is very very accurate due to having "fidelity" or in other words a larger "SCALE"... the only thing that could make it better is if I could find mercury... but us lowly humans aren't allowed to play with such elements lol., I named it the MAN-O-meter 4000

Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
One of your "Top Ten" videos. Thank you!
Wow, thanks!
Don't forget that it's harder for electricity to jump a gap during compression. The air density is thicker, increasing the resistance.
Which is why I have another tester with a pressurized spark chamber!
Nice! Love magnetos.
They can be finicky, I have an in depth mag video I am working on. It won't be out for a while so stay tuned in the meantime.
Great work Gary, realy good little set up you have, lathe, mill all the good stuff
A lathe and mill are not required tools in the Harley manuals, but, I guarantee, just about every engine needs a little machining...
😎👍😎
🤘😎🤘
Very cool. Thanks, this was very interesting! Can you also figure the best gap for a certain brand plug?
Just asking
Hmmm, hadn't thought about it
