Janab, I seriously doubt your capacity to judge biryanis. Naseeb, Al Naaz, Al Rehman, Farhan (sh*ttiest of all) types are all Pakwan biryanis. Tasteless, rice and chicken full of zarda color, no flavour enhancing hard spices. Mostly cooked in rawat ( raw animal fat from chicken/meat shops) yes, they collect fat, cheehray in lots from chicken butchers. So they use less cooking oil or ghee. That's why Pakwan biryanis have a particular smell, no signature Biryani khusboo.
Better ones cooked as somewhat proper biryanis (quality and consistency is lacking here too) are Student (gone are the days it used to be good), Premier or Premium at Rashid Minhas road and to a lesser extent, Allah Wala at Khudadad (if you can tolerate the waiters arrigance in not coming to you to take order).
By the way you should get good lataar from Korangi walas, because you missed the Yakhni pulao from Raees Ahmad at Korangi 6. I know its not biryani but That would have saved you from korangi walas wrath.
Have you even seen the pulao video in this series jo yaha akar bhashan derahay hain bhai? We haven't missed anything anywhere. Allahwala is there, Naseeb Mehmoodabad is amazing, so is Al-Naz from Delhi Colony, we haven't mentioned Al-Rehman or Farhan because they're below average. Premier had closed down ages back, Student has gone down the drain 15 saal se, and Allahwala is clearly the winner in this video, if you saw it from your eyes. Baki ap Rashid try kijiyega, you won't be disappointed.
