To me, the photos looked better on the phone's screen than how they looked post production.
That’s the beauty of creative process. We all like different things. I prefer the edited version because that’s how I like the scene to look. Hope you enjoyed the video nonetheless 🙏

Also, the video did convince me to keep my S22 Ultra for its camera quality and just pay the trade-in value instead when I receive my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Thank you for the informative video.

I still think the camera of my over 3 year old Huawei mate 20 pro is not much away from the quality of the iPhone if not better? Do you know if there is any test online? The mate 20 pro is the best phone I ever had and I think I will keep it for another few years before upgrading, the last years a new smartphone would have been a downgrade.

How do I use the presets. I downloaded them in iOS into my files but not sure how to use them
I could be mistaken but if you use the .5 you don't get the 48 megapixels those photos will be 12 megapixels. yeah pretty sure you only get the full 48 with 1x only

No other mic, I was wearing a jacket zipped up so between me and the GoPro there was some materiel which is why I think it’s done this. I thought the same when I started editing 😂😂

Yeah I only ever shoot RAW. I think it’s definitely worth it if you’re a photographer or want to edit your photos afterwards. If you’re not wanting to edit the photos then there’s no need to use RAW imo

It is a blessing with the neon lights for sure. I’d love to try it with a single light down in wales. Maybe a video on that in a few weeks or so.
@@Opticalwander that would be good to watch for a few tips and tricks. The 'city' I live in is tiny so it really is a challenge to get good photos on a night. Although I'm probably just not trying hard enough 😂

I am using a 13 pro. When i am using 3x lens in low light indoors, it actually shooting in main lens and then digitally cropping resulting in a low quality photo. Is it same for everyone? and if it is , is the same happening in 14 pro also?

I would say do it, because both android and apple are evil companies, it’s just that apple likes to sing “anything you can do, I can do better”.
I made the switch to the 14 pro after using only Android, specifically Samsung, for years. I am absolutely loving it so far

Can you explain how to set your raw pictures exposure? I have taken a few raw with my iPhone 14 pro, but when i put them in LR, it looks very dark.
That’s because it’s a raw photo you can increase the exposure in lr and it should be fine ✌️

Excellent for a phone - but I can't help thinking a used A6100 and a Sigma f/1.4 lens would be cheaper and offer more possibilities.
I agree but, a phone can do so much more than a camera. So if you’re a beginner and you want a device that does everything for the same price. I.e something you can edit on directly, social media, website building etc etc then a phone wins in my opinion
Also a phone is perfect for street photography as itvis almost unvisible 😉

I use my own Presets which are in the description but you need adobe Lightroom to be able to use them.

But it certainly won’t replace a mirrorless and dedicated lenses, right?
Nothing will. I think what’s important is to think of it as a tool. It’s easier to take the phone sometimes when out with friends or family and still get good results. But the camera will always Be king. It’s just nice to know your phones there for everyday stuff.

You don’t enable it. You just take a photo and move with the subject.

Yeah, I had the iPhone SE 2020 too and I traded in for the 13 pro max, I know what the battery health issue feels like on those phones.
Should try S22 ultra. Never saw using a samsung phone for photography.

I have a 13 pro max and I’m not gonna lie, you’re really making me wanna trade in despite me promising myself that I wouldn’t, that photography is really impressive for a phone and I can only imagine what it would be like in the day! 48 mp in a phone, I know android did it first, if not more but android has a bad reputation for low light imagery because it’s of the high mp count. I still want to wait for the iPhone 15 as they might perfect it by adding a 48 mp telephoto or ultra wide, or maybe increase the low light performance and get a better 48 dark images.
