Thank you SOOOOO much for making this video!! I just started 3D printing ears, and was frustrated that a lot of the designs I wanted to use I had to purchase! Tinkercad is the only software I am somewhat familiar with, so this video could not have been more helpful for me. Thank you again! :)
This is great, I'm new to 3D printing and I see ears that I like all the time in the parks but I want something a bit different and this is a great way to do this, thanks!!

Hiiiii Sooo I am looking to purchase a 3d machine and educating myself before I take the leap. I watched and rewatched your tutorial...and gotta say....you make it look SUPER easy. I'm such a newbie to this 3d printing world and I am down to try new things...I was reading the comments below and I know you mentioned the cricut in your video( i have a silhouette cameo) and wondering... can i or how can i use my silhouette and do this 3d printing??? You mentioned getting a mini 3d printer, which do you recommend? Also the one of the reasons I want to purchase a 3d printer is to do custom ears (duh..:)but wondering have you ever made a disney straw topper? I am so excited to venture out and I'll wait patiently for you to reply... THANKS for sharing....your tips and thoughts...
Thank you so much for making this video!! It was very helpful and much appreciated!! I am excited to attempt to make my own 3D printed ears soon. I would also love to see more of these videos from you :)
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I was like I’ll never be able to figure this out but you did step by step and seriously I Love You for this!!!! Thank you! Fingers crossed I’ll be able to play with my FILs 3d printer this weekend or next.
Thank you so much for this! I would love to see a tutorial with the Donald image, or how to layer so there's more details and it's not just a silhouette. I haven't quite been able to figure that out yet. Thanks again!
Can you please go over how to cut off the extra bits leftover from weird shapes? (I have something sticking out past the bottom of my ear and I can't figure out how to get rid of it!)
When working with a 3d print it does not matter what color you design it in. If you would like to print in a specific color you have to buy the pla- material for printing- in the color you would like it to be, then sand it and go over with paint to get the different color details. However there are some ways to print in multiple color, when you do a multi pass print but that would take more programming in the g-code, or you can try a 3d printer with 2 extruders instead of one. That would only give two colors though, unless you to the multi print pass with the two extruders. If you do not multi pass print then you can do the two colors and then sand and paint the rest just like above.

Great video thanks. I didn’t know about the SVG trick nor the baking soda. Thank you
Your video literally inspired me to get my own printer and start playing! By far the best video explanation on design and printing. Thank you!

does this ear fit with the interchangeable piece that you put the velcro on?
A weird question van you do another halloween repaint but on a officer francis head
If someone would like to supply me with one I'd definitely do a repaint video!
Awesome! Love the ears! How do you do different layers of color?
Amazing!!! Can you 3D print the same plastic in the cricut Maker?
Cricut Maker isn't a 3d printer however silhouette does one x
Absolutely not. Email me and I can explain why.

We’re you ever able to figure this out? I know there are shapes that can cut out certain points but it doesn’t seem incredibly functional!
Do you have a store which we can buy some from. I don’t have access to a 3D printer and these are beautiful
I could help you out man.

How do you program it to use different colors?

Hey great video
Can you tell me about how much each ear weighs? My local library has a 3D printer and they charge by the gram. I just wanted to get a rough estimate.
Thank you for this video! LIKELIKELIKE.
TYSM for this video! I'm trying to figure out why it takes you 2 hours to 3d print and mine almost 7 hours
I am new to your channel and want to make 3d ears.
how long does it take to print the ears
Nice . I use silhouette program to convert images to svg /jpeg /png etc
