That's where the tern "blueblood" to signify aristocracy came from. Aristocrats were, of course, not working out in the sun like peasants, so they would be very pale- and with visible veins.

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven?
If no, here is what the bible says,
      (1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Q1. Do you know what Sin is?
Sin is anything bad that we have done.
      Q2. Have you sinned before?
      Yes or No?
      (2) Revelation 21:8 KJV [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Because they have sinned, and God does not allow Sin into Heaven, the punishment is burning hell.
What is the way to reconcile our peace and relationship with God?
Q3. Do you know the Story of Jesus?
      (3) Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus = God who lived up in Heaven, but he came down on earth and became a man like us, he lived for 33.5 years without committing any sin. Then there were certain people who were jealous and therefore framed him on phony charges, and crucified him. Then he was buried and resurrected on the third day; Now he lives in HEAVEN.
Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us?
A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus.
      (4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this.
      (5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      (6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner.
      (7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer :
      ‘Dear GOD,
I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen!

The whole things about purity during those times really feel like just a twisted way to fill peoples perverted desires for example making them want to appear almost like babies or children…I know they were different times but there still has to have been something weird about wanting your wife/lover to look like a child…no? If anyone knows more about this can you explain more?

    • @murtleturtle4027
      @murtleturtle4027 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Absolutely, however, I think the aspect of innocence to them then was very alluring, as many men were very dominant due to their upbringing and culture, and to combat that would equal someone very opposite - It's creepy for sure in some ways but the younger a person, the more innocent seeming they are. I think the idea is more on what they (and we still to this day) view innocence as rather than someone literally wanting a child. It's the modern day equivalent to roleplaying a schoolgirl, some people find it creepy because they assume the people who like it are into kids, others don't and or may enjoy the fantasy because it's the idea of control and innocence and not the "literal child" bit at all. I think it's also the idea that youth is a symbol of good health too. Men back then were more about work, war, staying strong or whatever because it was the "typical man" thing and doing those things many times kept someone in shape and appearing younger and healthier (not to say all men were, I'm speaking typical upbringings and at least the idea of it, many women couldn't afford some of those trends at the time either). Most of all though I think it's a power dynamic, trends go along with the times and back then it was normal for men to trump over a woman in relationships. Those women of the time didn't understand the freedom that we have now adays, they were raised very differently which is what molded these trends.
That isn't to say it was problematic sometimes, just like a lot of trends today are problematic for some reasons or another, but I think it's less the trend and more how someone goes about it. As a woman, I like looking young and innocent too, I've liked that idea since I was in my early teens and because of that I took very good care of my skin. As an result, I'm 26 and I still look like my youthful 15-16 year old self in the face. It enhances it even more that I have a baby face. Does that mean my husband or I are into kids? No, hell to the no. I like trying to appear as youthful as possible because I like the idea of appearing innocent, and there's nothing more innocent than youth. There's a good difference and barrier between the two. So again, it's more the person's intentions and ideas rather than the trend.
Think of it this way: Women wanted their heads to basically resemble eggs, does it mean men found chickens attractive? Likely not.
I will say as a side note, back then it wasn't as abnormal to marry very young, which yes is totally creepy, but that's where the problematic end comes because yes, these types of trends were formed around the ideals of society during the period. But my previous argument is more about, it might have been problematic, but that also doesn't mean it was always problematic. Much like with today's trends. :)

Amen!
‘Congratulations ! Now you are a child of God. Download /Buy a KJV bible (I highly suggest getting a hard copy bible , as one day, it will be illegal to buy, own or even have an online version of the bible) and search for youtube channels like Truthunedited, REAL Bible Believers , The Bible Project, AoC Network, Robert Clancy, Spencer Smith to help you grow , study dispensationalism to understand the bible (I recommend the dispensationalism video from Genesis to Revelations by Dr. Gene Kim, th-cam.com/video/GI4CteEFxOk/w-d-xo.html) , join a bible believing church. God bless you brother/ sister ☺. See you in heaven one day!
      And if
Please help share the gospel, feeel free to copy and pas

@ 1:33 first of all, the word you're trying to say is "comely" which is pronounced "come-ly". And, secondly, it doesn't fit here. Comely means attractive. You mean " homely" which means unattractive. "He wouldn't be tempted to infidelity due to the HOMELY appearance of his wife."

Just a reminder : Witches trial took place at the very end of Middle Ages (in western Europe at least) at mostly in the Renaissance era. While purity was very important in those times, in the middle and the begining of the Middle Ages people didn't really care and woman were really free. Most of the bad things we hear about middle ages are either incorrect or happen in the Renaissance Era

She starts off with the medieval attitude that makeup was "Deceitful" and led people to distrust Women. A few minutes later she talks about hundreds of Women "Poisoning their unsuspecting Husbands" with the makeup. Maybe it wasn't ALL about the honesty...

Thing is aqua tofana was never used by hundreds of women. The maker of aqua tofana confessed to these numbers (going higher and higher during the interrogation she was put through) after several days of severe torture. You'd confess anything if your breast be burned and parts of it cut off, too. Also, aqua tofana was only given to women of which she was assured they were raped or beaten in their marriage. Women didn't randomly kill their husbands, but they could decide to end themselves to escape the torture or end their husbands

Wearing makeup was considered deceitful to men at best and criminal at worst she says. Too bad these laws and beliefs don't apply to the filters on social media apps these days. I say that because I love women who are beautiful and confident in their natural skin, a little makeup here and there and sometimes it's okay. But when I meet a woman who can't step out of the house without spending two hours in the bathroom and picking at her face I wonder what's underneath all those layers, almost a deal-breaker for me. I'm no Prince or knight in shining armor myself, and I'm not a hater ladies do what you do I'm just saying for me and I know what I like and prefer. The best look for me is when a woman gets out of the shower and she combs her hair and it's still wet, and she's clean and smells like good soap, not something that's overpowering and smells like 16 different flowers and three different types of wind that doesn't blow in the modern world industrialized world anymore. I'm not hating one but I , do what you do ladies, there's someone out there for for everyone.
