I believe when you come to the gorge off the North fork. If you turn right and continue down one of my dad's old cabins is in a cup block around 56 I think it was

Yes, I think I've spotted the cabin on Google Earth from the information you provided previously. I think the intersection is at somewhere near 48km or so up Gorge, then that road leads to "near" the cabin. I am currently rendering part 3 of the North Fork/Gorge loop, and that has footage of that intersection just near where the Gorge crosses the Anstey....I'll timestamp the location in the video description. I don't know when I'll be back up the Gorge, but it will probably be sometime this Fall as I want to explore Fifth Creek FSR more (a short bit is in Part 3 of the loop series). I'll have a look for the cabin then. One other note.....I found the squeak in my truck....so future videos should be absent this annoyance lol. It was a bumper brace rubbing on the bumper bar....and man was it hard to find! Cheers for now.

@resourceroadsofbc Okay, sounds good, and I'm glad you got that problem. Figured out, I've been in that situation, and it drives me nuts. I absolutely love that area. How rough is the gorge back that far? Just curious, we are thinking about going to yard creek camping, and I might venturous, and try to make my way up to the 20 km mark. And drone Wise, what do you use for a drone? If you don't mind me asking you've got me thinking about possibly purchasing one now

@@resourceroadsofbc I also do a lot of prospecting. Would like to try heading out that way to see what I can find in the general area

I agree; I love that area as well. Simply incredible. Gorge FSR is pretty good all the way up to the bridge over Anstey. Keep in mind though it's an active resource road and the logging trucks give no quarter (even the F350's are very aggressive there). I recommend a two-way radio if you go up on a weekday. You'll see a video on my channel about a logging truck.....let's just say it was closer than it looks (GoPro wide footage doesn't do it justice), and he was NOT kind to me. I grew up in the Mabel Lake area and have been in the bush my whole life....but that experience finally prompted me to get a cheap 2-way (which totally changed the game). Now at least I know where they are and can conduct myself accordingly. The Gorge only starts getting rough (rocky, potholes etc.) after about the 50km mark....but even then it's passable in a Civic or Corolla.....you'll just hammer it to death.

@resourceroadsofbc Okay. Well that is nice to know. I may have to go for the drive up there. And I absolutely love that area. That was my favorite part was the weekend when my dad would pick me up and take me up to the trap on the gorge fsr is where I've seen my first grisly bear and Wolf. I'm pretty much where I started trapping. Sadly, I grew away from that lifestyle.Would love to get back into it
