Yeah it's a dirty trick, but when you're not playing with a full deck of cards you does what's ya can...funnily enough, I was thinking that Maher's deliberate pause after the question was posed was clever because it took that particular wind out of O'Rielly's sails. It might have just been latency tho...nevertheless, O'Reilly warriors take note!

It's his show. That's how the talk show world works kids.
Not really, just the ones run by bigots. They have to stoop to logical fallacies and mind games to try and win an argument when they're arguing against logic and reason.
Rinzler T.M. Well to be more specific he gets paid to make the republicans look good. You could be giving him hardcore evidence and he would still argue against it.
I respect Bill and I think Bill made some great points however I think Bill overall emphasized his points more thoroughly compared to Bill. If I had to choose a winner I'd say Bill came on top in this interview.
He's not partisan if you bother to pay attention. Is he liberal, yes. Does he swing to the left, yes. In a country that has essentially only two real political parties, it makes sense he sides with the Democrats, but Bill is a realist, and identifies that both parties are flawed, which is why he's an independent. He's not a Democrat, even more so now.
In fairness this is one of the most reasonable versions I've seen of O'Reilly. He actually tried to keep a civil tone against someone who disagreed with him. I guess he must fear/respect Maher a lot.
I'll tell what i think is wrong with o'reilly. He's smart enough to know that he's talking shit, but he doesn't stop... makes you wonder whether he has an agenda ;-P
TheComputec He doesnt always talk shit. I think that when he does its to get the people or the subject hes debating to show their true colors. everyone has an agenda, we all have something that motivates us. I think he likes to be correct when in a debate, which is why he tries to dig out the truth. Does he always get it right? No, but nobody does. He does better than a lot tho. The winner in these debates is us, the viewer, because we get to see a variety of perspectives and then make our own decisions.
Marcus Porcius Cato TheYounger I definitely wouldn't him a hack..Most people that hate Maher are just offended by him because he attacks the hard right and their piety . I agree that his knowledge and scope is limited but I still think it's refreshing to hear him call this country out on all the bullshit. Him, like a lot of people, are sick of all of these back-peddling ideologies. Big business, big profits, broken political system, brainwashed religion, perpetual war , and just downright hypocrisy in this country. He doesn't have a lot of the answers but at least he sees some of the problems.
+Sean Kivlighn that was just one battle. But you can see at the end Maher reflecting that what O'Relly was saying was ringing some true inside, you can see it on his face.
Agreed. But the tactic mentioned by Maher (let's call everything a wash) was exactly what O'Reilly used by the end of the interview. That's an unveiling.
Exactly, just a spirited political conversation. And they do seem to have some level of respect for each other - not really interrupting or yelling like what happens on O'Reilly's show sometimes.
You're right, all I heard was OReilly talking over Maher... that's how he wins arguments, he talks louder than the other guy. The facts were heavily is Maher's favor.
O'Reily isn't stupid, his actually pretty educated, which is why people can relate to him on his early shows, but he got swallow'd whole by the fox news giant. If you look at some of his ealier shows, he actually adresses some valid points, and brings on great disscussions. Later on, his show just became a propaganda machine.
Bill O is a genius. Maher gives him specific examples of how the republicans will take facts and wash them with deflections. Bill O responds by washing Maher's very facts by using the democratic party.
no idea what you meant but Republicans have been blatant liars for the last 100 years - just Google Paul Ryan's state of the union rebuttal - every sentence was a lie, declared so by politicheck and Faux
moustachio cowboy the funniest thing is that you can talk all day and the Republicans won't listen. they don't prefer facts, they prefer their own garbage.
a lie is a lie not a mistruth. we claim we want people to be honest but we don't call them to have character. if a person says he is a Christian, like Bill O'Reilly, and lies and lies and slanders and purposely confuses the issues Fox News looks the other way.
***** Except for the fact that he has been caught in several lies right? lol like how he Covered a war when he wasn't in a war ? or how he followed a guy until he shot himself when O reilly was at the door? That hilarious lie he was caught in.
***** DAMN YOUR THE ONLY ONE IT SEEMS WHO THINKS O'REILLY IS ALL THAT...WOW I THOUGHT HE WAS THE ONE AND ONLY ASSHOLE...SORRY NO DISRESPECT BUT CALL IT LIKE I READ IT...
4:20 I can't believe Maher didn't notice that O'Reilly was comparing Bush and Clinton, trying to say "it's a wash," which is exactly what Maher accused them of doing at the beginning. I was sure that would be a strong nail in O'Reilly's coffin, but Maher didn't mention it.
I agree because they are having a civil debate. Where they disagree and they settle when they don't. What a concept. If only people would take off labels and listen to the content.
Same conclusion I had. Maher actually had a 'I... errr... uhhh' moment when he could've just said 'You know what Bill, I'll agree with you on that'. Can't believe O'Reilly was actually being objective. This has to be some kind of voiceover vid.
WTF?!! Not sure what video the OP was watching, but OReilly made the best points(Did I just say that?) that _all_ Presidents are self serving and cut from the same cloth. He made such a good argument, Maher did nothing, but stutter and stammer from 5:30 and fizzled out by the end.
Maher made some good points early on, but he fizzled out by the end so I would definitely say the video doesn't live up to its title. I came here expecting to see, "Maher kick whiny Bill Oreilly's ass", What I got was a lazy, questionable debate so thumbs down for this trashy, hyper-partisan video. Edit: And no, I am not a Republican.
We will actually never know. JFK was in office less than three years so there's a lot of cult of personality there. I give you an "A" for optimism though.
Hello, Back when this video spot was taken, I would have agreed with Bill Maher as kicking OReilly's ass being a loyal Democrat no matter what.. But today I think OReilly is sooo correct. There is no difference between Democrat and Republican. They are the same no matter which one you vote for in an election. We need a third party so bad now---its not funny anymore. Neither party is serving the needs of the people.
Goddess brings up a good point; Republicans have a tendency to bring up the issue of women's reproductive systems much, much, much, MUCH more than necessary.
***** True! I am not female. I agree with most of what Bill Maher states on his HBO show. I can't stand Fox so-called News, but this one time O'Rielly is ringing some big truth that there is little difference between the two parties. The two parties 'pretend' to be left and right of each other, but they are not. They continue to emphasize "smoke screen" issues such as Gay marriage, anti women, and Abortion. When it comes to important issues they pretty much follow the same lines and vote that way. The two parties quickly got together when they took away the political debates from the League of Women Voters organization back in the eighty's, and eliminated the Fairness Doctrine through the FCC that insisted fair reporting of political news. They have all but crippled the chance of any third parties getting air time in the media. On top of that Bill O'Rielly works for a company who's CEO has lived for years in Beijing, Red China, a police state. Fox so-called News represents the wealthy here and in Red China that have a steak in moving millions of American middle class jobs to a country with super cheap labor, and international oil companies that are making big bucks selling oil at discounted prices to Red China. Oil produced from Iraq that should have been used to lower the price of gas at the pump here in the USA. It was our tax dollars and soldiers who paid with their lives to secure that second largest oil reserve in the world, and the oil goes to that lousy police state of red china. Fox so-called News could give a damn about U.S. citizens, its soldiers in the field, and its economy. The oil pipe line that is being built from Canada to Texas will give temporary jobs to Americans, but once built, the oil will go to other countries and will not help lower the price of gas at the pump in the USA. The oil companies making all this money will not invest it in the USA.
Denton Fender FOX News is so far right, it isn't even funny. And you've left out the whole issue of the ACA. It may have once been an issue supported by both the left and the right, but now that it's Obama's baby, the Republican's can stand it and don't mind wasting a shit-ton of money on it. Over and over and over. And it's nice to know you think equal rights and women's issues are minor. Things that *should be* minor affect more than half of our population. Daily and in ways that are often detrimental. But, hey. It's all good as long everyone else is okay, right?
What's hilarious is that as soon as Maher made his point about the GOP turning everything into a wash as opposed to taking responsibility, the next sentence out of O'Reilly's mouth is "But don't you see the same things from the left, so can't we agree we're all in the mud." lol Almost like deliberately talking about a literal wash in mud. *face palm*
O'Reilly would never agree to enlist in the US army if we told him you are going to fight on the front lines in Iraq or Afghanistan. Case closed. He avoided fighting in Vietnam. He is the exact right age. He could have easily decided to fight in that war. He did not. If he admitted that, I would say go ahead and say whatever you want. He won't. It makes him look like a coward. I am conservative and agree with OReilly in many areas. Just once on his show when he has US soldiers on the show he should say yes I could have decided to fight for the USA in the Vietnam war. I did not. I chose to... ...instead, and I avoided fighting in Vietnam. Then go ahead and say what ever you want OReilly about US soldiers and wars. That statement by Oreilly should be made by him on his show. He will never admit it. For this, he is a coward.
Is it wrong that I like watching OReilly getting his butt kicked in debates? I hate him with a passion but at times he does make good points...when he's going against people that don't have really good defense arguments.
Yeah, perhaps O'R is able to make a good pre-crafted point when people less informed/intelligent than him are on (essentially people set up to take a blasting) but Maher certainly isn't one of them! :) I've seen other vids where the Bills have gone head to head and O'R didn't come out on top either, he resorts to lame personal attacks like what we saw: "you desperately need perspective", etc. when he's with nothing
To say that Bill O'Reilly is the voice of reason on Fox News is like saying a douche soda is better than shit sandwich. Besides, Greg Sheppard is the closest thing to a same mind in that excrement factory.
i don't know how people can talk to that bill oreilly. he keeps interrupting, never let anyone make his point and he screams all the time. he's like my girlfriend on her period.
WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!!! YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH OREILLY AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND ON HER PERIOD!?!?!?!?! IS THAT WHAT YOURE SAYING!!!!!!!!!! (O'Reilly is an ass)
Bullshit. That's exactly what Maher was saying. Things get presented as a wash, like "all politicians are the same" because they're all assholes. No, Kerry is a dickbag and would have been a shitty president, but he isn't remotely as bad as Bush. The same for Obama vs Romney and McCain.
I like this Bill O'Reilly. Where can we get more of that? One thing I'd debate him on though - the "progressive philosophy" - care to explain that? No major changes? I mean, the 80's and 90's were a major change from the 60's and 70's. You can keep going down that train of thought. That's like saying people should stop going to the gym and working out because they're afraid of progress. I mean, who would actually want to lose some weight and get in better shape? Ahhhh!!! Scary ideas!!! Progress is the #1 motivator for most people - having some sense of purpose, moving towards something. Fear of loss is another big motivator. If you can't unite the people for a common vision, then you use scare tactics and fear-mongering vis a vis perpetual boogeymen (i.e. Commies, Radical Islamists, etc.) Heave forbid we look in the mirror and point the finger at ourselves!
James Brice The #2 motivator - fear. Typically fear of loss (i.e. losing what you gained through your previous progress). This is what gives birth to conservatism, because those who gained are afraid others' progress will threaten their existence. It's pretty pathetic!
As a Bill Maher fan, even I have to say this video is mis-titled. It seemed like a very calm and pointless conversation between the two of them. I can't stand Bill O'Reilly, but there was NO "ASS KICKING" in this video... This was just a shameful attempt to get hits from us through a false title. Even I feel stupid for falling for it.
I don't think Bill Maher kicked Bill OReilly's ass. I think he brought up some good points, but he seemed to be stuttering and stammering by the end. It looked the like Mr. OReilly was beginning to kick his ass, when the video suddenly ended. Respectfully, I think it might appear otherwise because you like Bill Maher and don't like Bill OReilly.
Bill Mahr could go on a rampage, he does it every week on Real Time, but he dosent, because like he has said many times before, it useless to argue with people like Bill OReilly, because they live in the bubble and will keep refusing whatever he will say. Not to mention, you can see that Bill M. is holding himself back, because when Bill M meets Bill O in battle, that my friends, is when the apocalypse is nigh.
ryan kelly they don't live in a bubble. They live in a place called BullShit Mountain, where Bill OReilly is the Mayer of BullShit Mountain. According to Jon Stewart anyways (;
I noticed Maher stuttering toward the end also. It could be interpreted as weakness, but notice that it's also the time that O'Reilly starts shouting. I think Maher was as much taken aback by the tone as anything else. It's a sign of a bad debater when they have to resort to bullying tactics.
Look I'm trying desperately not to look at the tremendous difference in size of their noses. Watch this video and look at the noses, then try not to, it's impossible, just saying. Not trying to be mean either.
"He would be behind by 40%, he would be at 10"... If he's at ten, the other is at 90%, and that's being behind by 80%. Being behin by 40% is being at 30%. This guy doesn't even know his math.
I'm a European (well British so kinda) and everyone seems to say on comments that the world hates America but in reality everyone is chuffed whenever they meet an American, they all seem polite, respectful and well-mannered. Sure a lot of people aren't too keen on Bush, but in regards to America as a whole we all know its a fantastic country with solid people inside.
oh wow Bill O'Reilly just said "Go ahead" and let his guest speaker have their time to share their opinion!!! Can we write this one down in the history books??
Instead of abiding by parties, why can't we just evaluate the person for what he/she stands for and judge them on that? This blind allegiance to parties is slowly killing our country.
I hate these click bait titles to youtube videos. This is actually a good conversation on both parts. Notice how they're letting each other talk and hash out ideas. They may disagree but at least they can admit that. It's so sad how everything has to be a trending search with hot keywords.
Wow!! I'm accustomed to Bill Maher being his normal politically astute, witty and funny self. I've not seen him come so close to a serious debate of which I know he's fully capable. Already impressed, I'm even more impressed.
This is how O'Reilly should conduct debates... He didn't over-talk or get angry and even (sort of) conceded a point. If he was like this more often I'd have a lot more sympathy for him
OReilly's biggest strength is his tendency to interrupt his guests when they are making a point.
Yeah it's a dirty trick, but when you're not playing with a full deck of cards you does what's ya can...funnily enough, I was thinking that Maher's deliberate pause after the question was posed was clever because it took that particular wind out of O'Rielly's sails. Watching O'Reilly's show is like watching a train accident... except it's a train full with idiots that you're not sad to see die.
hahaha you legend! :D
that means you never watched O'Reily...
***** Yes! I suppose I am!
Its a shame George W Bush doesn't have a good IQ. The guy cant put a full sentence together, let alone run a country.
That poor train.
i'm not a huge fan of Bill Maher but anything that shuts down Bill makes me happy inside
Thats because consciously you can see he is not a fair man.
You sitting on my face would make me happy inside.
7Earthsky LMAOOOFF!!!
jabberwolf he doesn't believe in flu vaccines, which are often less than half effective
he's all for measles, polio etc.
bill oreilly is a bully but only on his show I'm sure!!!
I respect Bill and I think Bill made some great points however I think Bill overall emphasized his points more thoroughly compared to Bill. If I had to choose a winner I'd say Bill came on top in this interview.
so intellikent, I'll brb laughing ok
+Thomas Schmidt You couldn't be more wrong omg.
Bill > Bill a thousand times over.
+Thomas Schmidt I think you might be underestimating Bill's second point.
+Thomas Schmidt No your wrong, bill won. Duh.
+Thomas Schmidt Hahaha awesome comment
Does anyone else throw up a little in their mouth, every time they hear O'Reilly talk?
2xkiller Nice Mick Thompson Mask. Hes my favorite too.
2xkiller Intelligent people also throw up when they hear Bush talk!
2xkiller Only socialist libs who enjoy the after taste of their MSNBC cum.
Joe leblanc What ever douche. I served 3 tours for my country, more then you'll ever do. Bye troll..
+Joe leblanc if you live and work in america you are a socialist whether you like it or not.
Maher is just speaking way over O'Reilly's head. O'Reilly is like a self-righteous 6 year old.
Bill O'Reilly saying "I'm not a partisan" is a bit like Verne Troyer saying "I'm actually six-foot-four."
Or Darth Vader saying "I'm not evil".
When Bill said "I'm not a partisan" I could not stop laughing. Jesus Christ, even HE can't possibly believe that shit.
He's not partisan if you bother to pay attention. Is he liberal, yes. Does he swing to the left, yes. smilingmaskedturtle1 I should have been clearer. I meant Bill O'Reilly when I said that. Wasn't even thinking about the fact they are both Bills LOL
OReilly made a mistake inviting someone that knows his stuff and is not afraid to say them
Exactly,
OReilly is a mistake.
In fairness this is one of the most reasonable versions I've seen of O'Reilly. He actually tried to keep a civil tone against someone who disagreed with him. I guess he must fear/respect Maher a lot.
He does?
Major Tom one of the few times I actually agree with Riley
Major Tom good comment
Actually not true. O'Riely generally stays calm and stays in the discussion.
Lol. Ofc... and I bet you also think Bush is an intelligent person...
I'll tell what i think is wrong with o'reilly. He's smart enough to know that he's talking shit, but he doesn't stop... makes you wonder whether he has an agenda ;-P
TheComputec he definitely has an agenda.
TheComputec no question he has an agenda. HE WORKS FOR FRIGGIN FOX NEWS
As if maher doesn't talk shit.
TheComputec selling himself and his shit.

Im on a "bill o reilly gets owned" marathon. Whose with me?
BILL MAHER.... I'm pretty damn sure his name translates to "THE TRUTH"
He is against vaccines though........
mouwersor yah that's the one thing that pisses me off about him, I agree with a lot of the stuff he says.

You're me.
thats weird lol
This actually isn't the first time this has happend.
Listen I hate Bill O' Reily and love Bill Maher, but I would hardly call that an ass kicking.
agreed... infact oreilly got him to agree that both presidents were pretty much the same.

-Dick Cheney +Hitlery Clidioton
No comparison

I came to see OReilly's ass kicked... I think it was the other way around. I'm so disappointed right now.
You're right, all I heard was OReilly talking over Maher... that's how he wins arguments, he talks louder than the other guy. The facts were heavily is Maher's favor.
I know. But Maher seemed to not know what to say. That's OK, you're allowed to lose a round or two in a debate.
Abomb5991 bill does the exact same thing
Neil Jones There are two bills Neil... Please specify!
Efrain Rivera Junior in a DEBATE you don't win by acting more like a bully. you win with facts and arguments.
I took a big shit today. When I looked at it in the bowl, it looked remarkably like Bill O'Reilly.
Bad joke, but very true that he's a fuctwit
i had 'the runs' last year, and that also looked like O'Reilly.
lol erb reference

I agree. I think Bill doesn't even believe half the nonsense that he speaks, he just wants to remain relevant. Now Hannity is a lost cause.
His new stuff is good too, like he isnt too worried about losing his job anymore.
***** more or less
Once upon a time when Bill O'reilly have spoken the truth....
This is essentially evolution on television
Bill Maher won

I kind of wish Bill Maher ran for President..
O'reilly has been proven wrong by many, even kids, is there any wonder he's been cancelled?
Oh thank God. I'm sure he's asking Jesus "Why?"
Wow O'Reilly got his ass kicked
GDI one positive thing about oreilly. At least he sets himself up by inviting a truly smart guest The other fox people hide in holes.
oreilly telling any other human being hes oversimplifying a situation is like cyrano de bergerac calling anyone big nose
This is back when liberals cared about fiscal responsibility. Thanks Obama.
people please stop watching Bill OReilly.
I've never seen bill hear someone out like that. It's unusual.
Their working together.. He usually cuts people off
All hail, The King of Bullshit Mountain.
I'd say Bill clearly won this debate. Hands down.
are you sure about that?, i think Bill argumentet much better than Bill
If I had to choose a winner, I'd say those who did not watch this video, ugh
I'm surprised Bill kept his interruptions to a minimum here. Usually can't keep his mouth shut.
"I think that's way over simplifying the situation." Hello kettle, have you met the pot?
Bill O' Reilly was less rude back than.
***** Except for the fact that he has been caught in several lies right? lol like how he Covered a war when he wasn't in a war ? or how he followed a guy until he shot himself when O reilly was at the door? That hilarious lie he was caught in.

Bill Maher for president!

weed
that's the most i've ever seen bill o'reilly let a guest say
Yes, that was my observation too.
It's pretty hard to stop Bill Maher speaking. Harder than most people who go on his show.
Bill sticks with the facts. He does not believe in cowardice
Yeah, Bill completely ruined Bill in this.
i don't know, i think bill lost
Bill sucks! BILL FOR PRESIDENT 2020!!!
bm wheel Bill Maher yes.
that nose though
Bill OReilly is making more sense here than I've ever heard from him. Maher didn't kick anyone's ass in this video.
I... I agree.
I agree because they are having a civil debate. Where they disagree and they settle when they don't. What a concept. If only people would take off labels and listen to the content.
Maher has his worshippers. maybe their liars and Felons like him..
Same conclusion I had. Maher actually had a 'I... errr... uhhh' moment when he could've just said 'You know what Bill, I'll agree with you on that'. Can't believe O'Reilly was actually being objective. This has to be some kind of voiceover vid.
I hate Bill O'Reilly, but I though this was actually a very reasonable discussion.
Didn't know Bill had it in him.
Ikr, uncomfortably non-cannon for bill.
WTF?!! Not sure what video the OP was watching, but OReilly made the best points(Did I just say that?) that _all_ Presidents are self serving and cut from the same cloth.
He made such a good argument, Maher did nothing, but stutter and stammer from 5:30 and fizzled out by the end.
Really! The only thing he was doing was saying and I quote " I know what I am talking about" that wasn't a convincing statement by him hahah.
made the best points? Are you out of your fucking mind?
Maher made some good points early on, but he fizzled out by the end so I would definitely say the video doesn't live up to its title.

No...last _real_ president USA had was JFK. Not _all_ presidents are like that.
We will actually never know. JFK was in office less than three years so there's a lot of cult of personality there.
I give you an "A" for optimism though.
3:25 I'm still an undecided voter-- Bill O reilly
best joke ever made. Hahaha
"I'm undecided. Bush and Kerry are the same!
Now listen to me talk about why you should vote Republican 24/7 for the next forever."

On economic issues yes. But on social issues no.
3:21 O´Reilly : Im still an undecided voter. Come on bill... you are working for fox news...
*face palm*
I'm on Maher's side but O'Reilly raises a few good points. Good debate
Just remember Bill O "we can't explain the tides " his intellect is a joke
'...didn't deplete the entire treasury...' LMAO!!! Good one.
I've seen other vids where the Bills have gone head to head and O'R didn't come out on top either, he resorts to lame personal attacks like what we saw: "you desperately need perspective", etc. when he's with nothing
Bill Maher is too stupid to kick Bill O'R ass. O'Reily's foot is smarter that Bill Mahr head.
To say that Bill O'Reilly is the voice of reason on Fox News is like saying a douche soda is better than shit sandwich. Besides, Greg Sheppard is the closest thing to a same mind in that excrement factory.
and you saying that according to Bill Maher? Really? Are you THAT stupid?
TheLilac212 I'm smart enough to start my sentences with capital letters. They taught us that in grade school...
i don't know how people can talk to that bill oreilly. he keeps interrupting, never let anyone make his point and he screams all the time. he's like my girlfriend on her period.
That's why I don't talk to stupid republicans.
him and that nancy dipshit bitch who thinks marijuana us evil should both go crawl under a hole together and leave humanity behind. Good riddens
WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!!! YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH OREILLY AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND ON HER PERIOD!?!?!?!?! IS THAT WHAT YOURE SAYING!!!!!!!!!!
(O'Reilly is an ass)
Geee I actually agree with Bill O when he says they are all alike. I feel a little dirty now.
i felt the same, like, damn, he was actually right.
Josh Perry
I think he was drunk and forgot he was on air.
My thoughts exactly.
Bullshit. That's exactly what Maher was saying. Things get presented as a wash, like "all politicians are the same" because they're all assholes. No, Kerry is a dickbag and would have been a shitty president, but he isn't remotely as bad as Bush. The same for Obama vs Romney and McCain.
***** To me all politicians are the same Crap. That said, Bush is the worst ever.
"Intellectual sluggishness" That's DAMN right! "Idiocracy" is HERE NOW!
Republican motto: 'Never let facts get in the way of a good argument'
Bill totally won this debate.
Why?
Commies, Radical Islamists, etc.) Heave forbid we look in the mirror and point the finger at ourselves!
haw! there is nothing new about so called progressivism. It has been destroying civilizations for milleneums
James Brice The #2 motivator - fear. Typically fear of loss (i.e. losing what you gained through your previous progress). This is what gives birth to conservatism, because those who gained are afraid others' progress will threaten their existence. It's pretty pathetic!
***** well you keep telling yourself that little bedtime tale because apparently you can't deal with reality
James Brice Well thought out rebuttal. At least provide some anecdotal evidence to the contrary lol
***** no one need make an argument against such blantant crap.
If people like the country as it is... then why does 72% of America want a third party?
I really hate both of them, so whoever kicks whoever is still a win for me
The very first point Maher made is exactly why trump is the president. Wow.
The good old days when both sides use to talk to each other.
Wow! This must be the only video of Bill O'Reilly acting civilly to someone he disagrees with. Truly one for the archives.
Mahar said "You are good at making things a wash". Now listen to 4;17 to 4:30-point completely proven
exactly what he was talking about
As a Bill Maher fan, even I have to say this video is mis-titled. It seemed like a very calm and pointless conversation between the two of them. I can't stand Bill O'Reilly, but there was NO "ASS KICKING" in this video... This was just a shameful attempt to get hits from us through a false title. Even I feel stupid for falling for it.
god does O'Reily say anything TRUE in this???? oh wait a minute it IS O'Reily....
Improving the education! I couldn't laugh more. Education in the us hasn't changed since ever
when ever I do watch some more stupid shit that Oreille spews out of his pie whole I just want to vomit.
Not to mention, you can see that Bill M. is holding himself back, because when Bill M meets Bill O in battle, that my friends, is when the apocalypse is nigh.
haha. Ok, ryan kelly, well said
ryan kelly they don't live in a bubble. They live in a place called BullShit Mountain, where Bill OReilly is the Mayer of BullShit Mountain. According to Jon Stewart anyways (;
I noticed Maher stuttering toward the end also. It could be interpreted as weakness, but notice that it's also the time that O'Reilly starts shouting. I think Maher was as much taken aback by the tone as anything else. It's a sign of a bad debater when they have to resort to bullying tactics.
he's not a libertarian
I agree.
And Bill-O isn't non-partisan. He's all in for the GOP.
Its so sweet to see how they agreed on being nice to each other before the Interview :-)
Look I'm trying desperately not to look at the tremendous difference in size of their noses. Watch this video and look at the noses, then try not to, it's impossible, just saying. Not trying to be mean either.
Another great merger of words: Incompetent, incumbent.
Okay I was cracking up when he said,"I know what I'm talking about here!" I was like, No you don't dummy my dog is smarter than you.
Well Bill OReilly is still a conservative and now so is Bill Maher. Like I tell liberals, no one becomes a liberal we all grow up one day.
"He would be behind by 40%, he would be at 10"... If he's at ten, the other is at 90%, and that's being behind by 80%. Being behin by 40% is being at 30%. This guy doesn't even know his math.
'...pork barrel spending...' Well, that's the pot calling the kettle black if I ever heard it.
Right on Bill Maher you are so smart and I know it is hard talking to someone that has no idea what they are talking about...but you did very good...
Did Bill O’Reilly just try to smear _smearing_!?
Did Bill O'Reilly just say he's not a partisan? Hah!
there is no law stating that they have to keep the promises that they ran with.
Lola. He said incompetent then changed it to incumbent. 😂
"Bill Klington never lied about anything important". Suuuure. xD
It was insensitive, but not incorrect. If he said that today, he would be imprisoned for hate crimes.
This is the most civil i've ever seen Bill O"reilly act
When I see a video title like this I really want to see them actually beating the crap out of each other XD
Instead of abiding by parties, why can't we just evaluate the person for what he/she stands for and judge them on that? This blind allegiance to parties is slowly killing our country.
I think this was a great debate. They both made good points and respected one another. No one got their butt kicked.
Bill O Reilly: "I'm not a partisan"
That line gave me angina
One of the best lines - O'Reilly: "I don't see him (GWB) as some kind of corrupt midget like you do." Maher: "Well, I guess we'll disagree on that."
I love how at the beginning of the show Maher explained exactly what O'Reilly did for the entire interview.
I hate these click bait titles to youtube videos. This is actually a good conversation on both parts. Notice how they're letting each other talk and hash out ideas. They may disagree but at least they can admit that. It's so sad how everything has to be a trending search with hot keywords.
It was totally the opposite of what the title said it would be lol
If he was like this more often I'd have a lot more sympathy for him
My favorite part of Religulous was when the Hasidic Jew at the Sabbath loophole technology place called Maher a schmuck lol! :D
after watching this it makes me realize how many famous people are named "Bill"
