இதுக்யாஸஹித த்வா பா யாவே, மாஜே ரங்கணீ நாசாவே
மாஜா ரங்க துஜெ குணீ, மணெ நாமயாச்சி ஜனி
This particular Abhanga is written by 13th century St Janabai who worked as a maid servant in the household of St Namadeo, who lived in Pandharpur and who was a prominent Marathi religious poet of Bhakti sampradayam.
Talking about this Abhanga, Janabai associates the deity of pandharpur, vitthala to a motherly figure and calls him "Aai" ( mother in Marathi ).
She goes on equating the rivers bheema and chandrabhaga (on which banks the town is situated) to the holy river Ganga. In the last two stanzas, Janabai invites Vitthala to dance and sing with her and tells him how ardent devotee she is !
