For the next build try looking around a dollar store,or in your case poundland, for these small metal trays with integrated magnet. They are great for holding ferrous based hardware eg. Screws. Cheers - Eddy
Just a tip for next build, when installing lots of interconnected components (like joining those two frame rails) leave all the screws loose so assembly goes easier. Once all joining parts are in place you can square the whole assembly and tighten.
Hi daggerwin I know you have proberly finished making this truck. But I did notice that u have put the cross beam with the air tank on in upside down as it has a curve on one side and not on the other for the driveshaft/ prop shaft to run next to so it's not as close. Just saying not trying to start a fight.
If you don't know by now, Tamiya Kits come with extra bits and Hardware! Some for sanity (like when you shoot a 2mm E-Clip across the room!!!), and others because they make the same Parts Trees fit other Kits. Those spares are great for modifications and customisation. 😉 My advise would have been, Keep all spare bits!
are you going to buy a trailer for it? And if you do, buy one from CARSON and not from TAMIYA, because the ones from TAMIYA are american trailers while the ones from CARSON are european trailers, and the CARSON trailers are compatible with the TAMIYA trucks because they use the same sizes of parts.
Not to mention, the CARSON trailers are also considerably cheaper than the TAMIYA! If I could get CARSON in the US, I would, and just remove the third Axle, and "Americanize" it. And the CARSON would still cost less than the TAMIYA.
It's hard knowing that you have already completed the build, but you really need to clean up where the parts have been RIPPED from the sprues. The extra plastic may foul against other parts and cause problems later, when it's harder to file the excess off.
Hi daggerwin great build if you would like acessories for your truck eg light bars and stuff and a basic light kit i would recommend looking at astec models and if you ever need any advice there is a group on facebook called "Tamiya trucks"
Reading the comments, I see the TROLLS are out! 😖 Oh.... Upside Down Chassis bits.... I was yelling at the screen, but to no avail. 😜😅 As long as you're having fun! Your small errors will always sort themselves out. 😉
this video made me sad because seeing daggerwin use his methacapal bone propaly is upsetting in his thumb cause i have had mine fused together instead of three bones i have only two :(
Q11 and C1 is upside down. Great videos.
Looking forward to the next part to this one!

Deathlok67 added benefit is that it may magnetize the screws a little and make them stick to the screwdriver

It appears to be larger than I expected. Looking forward to seeing your further progress.

Also the same with the piece that is second from the bk. As the curve is facing up. And should b facing down.
Hi Daggerwin, love your build so far. I think you put on part c1 upside down though
SURE DID!!! 😖😜😂😅
I was yelling at the screen, to no avail....
I cant wait to see it when its done 🤗
Tamiya thoughtfully includes 1:1 scale drawings for all linkages in the instructions
And 1:1 scale drawings for all screws!
love your vids

When are you going to do a model farm video
Remembers me the time i also built Tamiya´s.

my summer truck
Bring back the farm display please (;-;)
I hope it will to
Mr. Hands, where's mr. Bill? I'd get one of those kits if I had a screw loose.
Good video
In case you build another RC kit, the pictures of the hardware are to scale so you don't have to measure them
the one with the air tank on is up side down the prop has got to go under that gap mate
prop? Propeller?

For your first build its quite a complicated model, will you make any more now? How about the heller 1:24 scale grey fergie, its an easier build
Carson goldhofer bau trailer would fit nicely on this truck

cross frame with air tank is bad. It must have the loop under to clear the drive shaft when suspension travel
yes very bad
Where did you buy this?
Are those chassis rails metal or plastic?
Metal
"keep out of the reach of children"? Are we not all somebody's children?
Bovadie farm What? Are you an android then?
Please get a craft knife and cut off the small lugs thats are left over from the parts tray and a better screw driver
How much you paid for that because there is lots of different prices on internet.
next time buy a Scania model
3300 gamer he’s not made of money
He could BUY him a Scania! 😖😜
$320 USD or £255....
NO PROBLEM, RIGHT? 😲
You definetly need a better screwdriver.
33:33 left
Watching you use that tiny screwdriver causes me actual physical pain.
lol
Would get mad because I can't get the screw in throws things and end going to mow grass in fs17 to calm down, but that's just me.
Are you a ghost?👻You only have hands😵😵😵
I would have to throw that screwdriver in bin need a decent screwdriver on the job 😂😂😂😂
