    Looks like a useful device. Curious if it works on textured walls. I always worry about being shocked by wires when drilling through walls.

    • @Mr.Ryuken
      @Mr.Ryuken 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Getting shocked from drilling is almost zero chance , Since drill bit is not touching you just a drill that protects you . But a drill bit could make wires thinner if it runs by one. This could make that thin part over heat since amps carried by that wire is gonna be smaller where wire got nicked.

    Can this "see" a damaged wire behind the wall? Some critters got into our wall and chewed the wires, before I take out the whole wall to find the damaged wire, can a Walabot help find just the damaged area?

    Another Great very Informative Video! I will definitely be getting a Walbot soon! - I have a plastic ready-to-tile 12'X24" Niche that was just installed on the inside wall adjoining the hallway Where we used to hammer nails to hang pictures - but not anymore because the back of the Niche is right up against the inside of the drywall - I'm wondering how and what the Walbot would detect and show this as? and Now we have to use the pull strips to hang pictures there - Also I installed very dense Rockwool insulation - I wonder how it would detect through that?

    That's very interesting device. As per your review it looks like it work way better than "traditional" stud finders.
    I'm living in an old house and in basement and on top of regular drywall I have wavy wood panels (I'd say 3mm difference between top and bottom of the "wave"). So I need to locate studs precisely to hang heavy device on the wall. I tried using two different Zircon stud finders but their reading are not consistent across measurements. Walabot looks like what I need (at least I hope it'll help).

  • @agaby1975
    @agaby1975 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It looks like a very useful tool to have around. Thanks for taking the time to review it for us. I have a question though regarding the tool. Would it find the stud if the stud is half inch away from the wall? There are situations where there are horizontal half inch boards screwed perpendicular to the studs then the drywall is installed on those, especially on some exterior walls. Thanks in advance,
    Gabriel
