I wouldn't spend any money on the twentieth emulation of a 50-year-old plate reverb, but I've never regretted investing in the shaper box. This is exactly what I want on my computer. Easy to use and countless creative possibilities.
Being made by Cableguys. Damned I bought this Reverb add on yesterday. Best 19 euro I ever spend. Shaperbox 3 is my goto musical inspiration tool. I mainly use 3 softsynths (Diva, GX80, and Massive X), and none of them leaves the house without some preparation by Shaperbox 3. If you use Maschine Shaperbox can add some nifty automation to your mix, Maschine itself is not capable at.
For future development consider this: 1. Eight assignable macro knobs, helps with DAW automation (see Multipass) 2. A few step and curve modulators that can be assigned to various parameters (think midishaper or Arturia efx) 3. Granular delay module (ref Crystalizer, Portal, Chrystal) 4. DAW sync offset parameter. Maybe you want that 4 bar long transition to start on bar 6...
Granular delay module would make Shaperbox the most perfect creative tool imaginable, and this is already the greatest FX plugin available imo...please consider it Cableguys!! Thanks for everything you provide musicians, you're uncredibly appreciated
Not only this plugin is amazing, but it's a steal. I can see competitors easily charging 199 or more for similar features, and I'm so glad they made it accessible and fairly priced.
bought the bundle to hopefully save me some time after having spent many moments combing through every channel in a bus to find individual plugins and then having to change settings, sync them up, automate them, realise i forgot one, etc.😭 was unaware that it would become one of my favourite plugins to modulate sound. when producing dubstep you can turn things like bass stabs and growls into really unique interesting things. 1/4 sidechain in seconds is super nice too. the simple design is a nice break from knob after knob for oscillator after oscillator, kinda looks like comic sans ms as a plugin but if comic sans ms was cool. keep this up can't wait to see what comes next.
Nice, I'm even more addicted to shaperbox as before, reverbshaper is now on every single percussion hit or melody with special reverbeffects. Made a very awesome preset that makes a tuned riser from everything, take a clap, then reverbshaper very long plate reverb, tune liquid to the desired key, add noise, add driveshaper, add sidechain or Panshaper (optional), add widthshaper mono to stereo, add filter to rise. Don't forget to save.
I have a suggestion for a new(ish) feature. I find myself using multiple instances of shaperbox on a track (notably for sidechaining). Would it be possible to be able to use a module more than once (i.e. 3 volume shapers), where each module can be assigned a separate sidechain channel? It would be really handy if possible to release in a future update.
I absolutely love Shaperbox, probably my most commonly used VST in any track, and this reverb stuff is amazing for techno and rhythmical interesting stuff! :) Quick feature request, though, for all shapers: curves on the mix parameters, this seems like a very basic feature, I am surprised it's not there and limits usefulness of for example Liquid effects for transitions. :(

please do a video on optimum level setting for source material in the reverbshaper,,, you could also extend that to the other shapers as well,, and go into where levels ideally should be when using the envelope follower, including setting threshold and amount,,,, thank you

Indeed.. we released ShaperBox 3.4.1 three days ago, and did not realize that the oscilloscope was not shown any more in ReverbShaper. We've just updated to ShaperBox 3.4.2 which fixes that.
For full version upgrades (from 1.x to 2.0, for example), we usually charge an upgrade price, which will always be cheaper than buying the latest version without already owning the previous one. Minor 'point release' updates will usually be free of charge (from version 1.0 to 1.1 or 1.5, etc, for example) - in fact, we’ve never charged for them in the past and are not planning to do so in the future. If we add a new Shaper to ShaperBox, however, it may not be free and will stay in demo mode until you buy it. The update to ShaperBox itself and any Shapers that you own will usually be free of charge.
As useful as this is in its current state, I'm a little disappointed there aren't more modulation sources - I would have expected to at least be able to modulate the size and decay parameters. Any plans to add this functionality?
ReverbShaper is a convolution reverb, meaning it uses sampled impulse responses (IRs) to generate its reverbs. The nature of IRs means that the Decay and Size parameters can’t be modulated without a huge hit to CPU usage, which we decided not to impose.
@Cableguys would you ever consider more parameters for the impulse response such as reverse? Convology XT is a free plugin that has many different functions to shape impulse response so something along those lines

why is my shaperbox 2.4.5 opening only in demo mode then bringing me to apage to buy shaperbox bundle which i did and downloaded the full version of both but 2.4.5 and 3 but 2 is still in demo mode

I used it for a gated reverb for my snare. Cuts out to the groove of the track.

My only complaint is the limited number of midi slots. Coming from stutter edit 2 shaperbox is less "playable"
