I ordered an URMOSI thumb throttle for my 2022 grom because of wrist pain from an injury but now I need a slimmer on/off switch to get everything to fit. Any recommendations?
@@GromGarage Like the different voltage on the switch. Like the headlights work with a open switch, like what to do with the DRL... Is that enough for another video or should I carry on?
Whats the difference between the og grom and the sf that you own. Mine looks just like yours but in my country they got different names. Here its called honda msx 125 :/
Hi , can you give me a link for a switch , i bought one on ebay , but he didnt get the 12v light wire. Only got 7 wire and your switch got 8 wire , thx :)
These switches are a clone of the stage 6 ssp switchgear. be careful with some of the cheaper ones because they arent made very well but can be "fixed". on the indicator part the contact inside the switch has a spring behind it to push the contacts together, they made this spring weak so it doesn't connect very well, the switch can be disassembled and stretch the spring so the contacts get a better connection.
Hi i just wired this up but only issue is my high beam low beam if i connect it how your chart is i get no lights i tried a different way and at switch set to low beam i get both lights at hi i get no lights plis theres som flicker to the lights also.
So I’m guessing it’s running ac current (it’s probably a og grom) you will need to convert it to dc current if this is correct. As for the lights not working I’m not too sure without putting my hands on it.
Yea man... try to mess with it some more. If you still have trouble message me on Instagram and I’ll try my best to help. (Not making any promises though)
A lot of people do it for looks. Personally I needed more space on my handlebars for a handbrake setup for stunting. This switch is a lot smaller than the stock one. So it’s for handlebar space or looks
I have a 22 Grom and my on off starter switch broke. I can hot wire it but I need it replace asap and it's impossible to find a "22 Honda Grom handlebar switch" and Honda themselves said it's anywhere from 6 weeks to 2 years for any parts rn. Can you use an older year model switch??

You left important information out.

I'm actually working on a video on how I wired up the headlight. Should be released soon
Outstanding job Bro!!! Goona do that on my OG. Thanks for video!!!

Just different generations of groms and they changed the name for overseas from what I know
Great job. I have an og adding a similar switch from amazon.
What about the other two black harnesses? You never mentioned what those go to and how to clean them up, Did you cut them? What did you do?
For the clutch? Cut the connections off and solder them together
Grom Garage I got it thank you,

@@GromGarage not an og it's a '17 sf i tried messing with it earlier but stopped cause i was getting frustrated.

@@GromGarage makes sense... Just wasn't sure if there was some inherent flaw in the OE switch.
No, not at all. Just a stunting thing and some people like the look 👀
Where do u get the switch cant find anyplace

What’s the link for that part?
🙄🙄 bro, I literally said I'm not putting a link for it.... Look motorcycle switch on eBay
Grom Garage bro cmon!!
Grom Garage bro cmon!!
Bro, just look it up on eBay like I said to.
But why do this if the factory switch block just works 🤷. And please dont give an honestly stupid answer saying its for looks
Because when you run a handbrake it takes up alot of room or you ziptie it in a weird location which looks stupid and is harder to use
Fair enough...that's one of the few very valid reasons I didn't consider
If it turned the light off I could see a use for it
There is a secret switch to kill all the lights 😉
@@GromGarage Should do a video on that "stealth mode".
Hey man I’m pretty sure I bought a ruckus from you a long time ago
No way!!! That’s awesome!!!
