If I was to say 'Nike' as 'Nikeee', people wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about and would think I'm stupid.
It seems like we accepted wrong pronounciation as a correct one. But then again it also comes down to the point where many can't pronounce every name or word, so we implement incorrect pronounciation to pronounce those names or words easier.
French is a really though language, but I gotta admit it sound hot and charming when a female speaks it.

For me, Loewe has always been a TV premium brand from Germany. Not as old as the Spanish one, but neverheless, around since 1923.

true - Its a German brand... but actually, I have no real clue how Loewe should be pronounced as it is a surname. I always say "Löwe" (Lion in German) as we normally put an "OE" to be a "Ö". But as said - as it is a surname it might be way different

And in French, the second ‘e’ is pronounced ‘ee’ because of the accent aigu
3:48 Again, Nike is a Greek god. Written: νικη. The ‘I’ is pronounced like the ‘e’ (in English) and the ‘e’ is like a French è. So I would say: neekè (I don’t know phonetic script, so I hope you know what I mean)

    - Audi: pronounced A-u-di
And Porsche, that was mentioned in the video.

I live in UK though and noticed that most of foreign brand names are being pronounced "in English", like IKEA or Jysk for example. All the German people on the Porsche! I'm learning German as well as I have always said it that way because I learned it from Top Gear, now known as Grand Tour, and I agree. But, Gut gemacht (Well done) (to Germans, Es tit mir leid, ich spreche nur bisschen Deutsche. So it may be bad how I explain it.)
Porsche is Germany, as you can tell from their beautiful unique spelling of the sound "sh". But since their is no umlaut it is like Öl (oo-el=oil) like the two O's in toon then the German "L" sound that you learn from Das Alphabet, is "el" like the ending of the word lab"el". So without the umlaut in Porsche it would be, Por-sh-a. Germans have wonderful emphasis on certain places which makes people think their language is rough and brutal when really, they just like getting to the point....which I'm sorry for not doing.

Lisa as an American with a VW I tend to call it “vee double you” instead of “fau vay” which is how I’m guessing German speakers would say it. But if I ever say the full name of “Volkswagen” I always pronounce it the German way for some reason. I’ll also switch between “bee em vee” and “bay em vay” for some reason and sometimes for fun I’ll even say the full name of "Bayerische Motoren Werke".

@@meridegreis5185 Loewe is a french word as far as i know. There's no spanish word where we use the W since that letter isn't on the latin alphabet so we have words that are non-spanish like Kiwi or Whisky were we pronounce it like in english since is the sound we're more familiar with. I'm not a spanish or english teacher so all that i know is from what i've been taught. I hope it helped.
