Why did I choose an Abarth 500 and not an Astra VXR or Golf GTI!

I felt it would be interesting to briefly explain to you all why I came to buy the Abarth over some of the more obvious options available such as a Golf GTI, Astra VXR, Corsa VXR , Golf R32 , Fiesta ST or even something more retro from Japan!
