Growing up my parents didn’t sound to keen about tattoos or the culture surrounding it. By the time I entered college and got my first small tattoo and called my dad he just laughed and said, “so what’d you get?” After I got bigger more prominent pieces he said, “I always had a feeling you’d get them, I just didn’t want you to get them too young and regret what you’d have on your body.” I’m very well aware of the support I have coming from an Asian family. Man I got a tattoo in Korea when I was visiting family. It was crazy how open the establishments were in terms of signage but you had to know someone in order to actually get it done. I got mine in December of 2017.
Kinda hate how it’s illegal. Because you can get it wayyyy worse doing surgery. Like the skin could catch fire or you could wake up during. But a tattoo could be removed with a laser, and you are conscious during the process. But like, you could have baddd scarring from surgery
Man looks at woman's tattoos: "Whoa, where'd you get that body from? Where'd you get that body from?"Woman looks at audience and suddenly has Psy voice: "I GOT IT FROM M' DADDY. DA-DA-DA-DA, etc."
I think her purple instead of white in her eyes is really pretty. I might stop and stare, not out of shock or disgust, but because it would be beautiful to see. Also, maybe they limit tattoos only being done by doctors because tats are wounds and medical pros know best how to treat and deal with them. I am positive it's more than that for their reasons, but that may be part of it and that idea itself isn't a bad one necessarily. A nurse, doctor, etc would know very well how to do it without infection and such.
I mean, if my kid commits mass homicide or dose the next 911 I'm not gonna speak to him either, but cutting connection with your son just because he has tattoos is the most ridiculous thing ever.
Newer generations are completely fine with tattoos. Korea was modernized relatively recently, so older generations aren't very familiar with foreign culture. This will probably change soon.
The message is so empowering. I'm a 15 year old and I literally feel how much the beauty standard's of our society destroys my self esteem. I don't like make up, but I watch hours and hours of make up tutorials and skin care routines to learn it anyway just to fit in the social standard. There was a time where I bought everything "trendy" to fit in while I just wanted to blend in. This time is luckily over. Nowadays I only buy clothes when I want to dance in the exchange room and when I feel happy in them. I stopped doing make up and try to use my knowledge to care for my skin. Not for the world but for me. I try to show everyone there own beauty and learn how to love myself while doing it. If you read this and also struggle with beauty standard's keep in mind that you are the only one that should be happy with yourself. Do what you love and stay true to yourself.
With the prices New York artists charge, I don't get why a doctor in Korea wouldn't just start tattooing. Sounds like an amazing retirement plan to me.

What's the theme that sounds in the beginning?
always wanted to see more of the underground/alt scene in Korea...it's beautiful. hope one day I'll be able to travel there and get a tattoo 😍
Wait, if tattoo is illegal here then how did she get a visa
how did she change her eyes to blue? is there a surgery for that? gosh.. that must've been painful..
tattooed eyeballs.
No one:
Not a single person:
Girl: idk if they’re shocked about my tattoos or that I’m wearing a Burberry coat
Wow that was so funny
6:46 track ID please ?????
U looks so cool with those tattoos
Man I got a tattoo in Korea when I was visiting family. It was crazy how open the establishments were in terms of signage but you had to know someone in order to actually get it done. I got mine in December of 2017.
Tattoos are good.... The tattoo hater's should remember our ancestors...once received tattoo..for honour ...
I'm getting ready to go back to S. Korea and am itching to add a tattoo.
What's in her eyes?
Does anyone know where her white puffy jacket is from??????
Planning on getting one.
Kinda hate how it’s illegal. Because you can get it wayyyy worse doing surgery. Like the skin could catch fire or you could wake up during. But a tattoo could be removed with a laser, and you are conscious during the process. But like, you could have baddd scarring from surgery
Esse vídeo me faz pensar profundamente sobre tantas coisas...
Tattoing was originally conceived to mark criminals, specially in asia, as pariah. That is why it's illegal/badly perceived.
depends on the culture. in korea maybe, but not so much in japan; although it is somewhat stigmatized in china
what font is in the video?
Is there ink in her eyes?
what are these kind of scars on her forehead at 0:37 ?
It's scarification, a body mod that's been around for thousands of years.
Who’s the girl at 7:03???
This guy is gorgeous
It’s sad to see that man who Hadn’t spoken with his dad because of his tattoos, like you’re supposed to love your children no matter what.
I am going to Mystic after my BTS fanmeeting. . .💜♥
Older generations hate plastic surgery and hair dyeing as well as tattoos...😅
Im part south korean, my dad is from seoul. Its hard to believe that tattooing is illegal cuz my dad and i want to get one together and if he had not come over it would have been difficult to.
What's with the eyes? They are scary and beautiful at the same time 😱😍😶
She had her eye modified by 12 injections amongst other things... graziadaily.co.uk/fashion/news/grace-neutral/
Also scars on her face
some great tattoos considering it's illegal. I'd say one of my best tattoos was done in an underground tattoo parlour, maybe illegal tatts are the best
