@@RUmlasI wouldn't be surprised if it was for durability. The amount of holes that were made for the HEAT RDY material of the 23/24 shirts are almost too many. Not to mention, the weaving looks quite fragile. One cat refusing to leave ground and clawing to your shirt would be enough to ruin it. I have a Germany home shirt from 2020 which has a more robust HEAT RDY pattern and I haven't had the "cat claw" issue likely because the holes are smaller and the weaving is a bit tighter together.
