I think RDJ should play the role of Doom with few reasons: 1. we all know MCU will most likely wrap the multiverse saga soon so RDJ will play just for 3-4 years and that's it 2. Doom is himself a complicated character different from Iron man so that's how RDJ got convinced from MCU.

Dr Doom is one of the most iconic villains of Marvel. By bringing back RDJ, they are basically confirming that we will see a varient of Iron man as Doom which I don't like very much. Seriously man 😅, it is really a dumb decision to make a same actor to act as a different character in the same universe. Chris Evans case was different, as the F4 belong to the Fox, back when the MCU didn't even exist. So had to apply the bandage to cover the character plot in the name of the "Multiverse". But now since the MCU already exists, casting the same actor was a foolish move.

Imagine Dr Doom knew that on Earth 606 Dr Strange scripted Tony Stark's death. And then Dr Doom and Dr Strange had to team up to save the universe before secret wars, according to comics. It's already giving goosebumps.
Obviously there were other ways to defeat Thanos. But Dr Strange knew what threat could Tony become he remains alive as happened in alternate universe.

Dr Doom is one of the most iconic villains of Marvel. By bringing back RDJ, they are basically confirming that we will see a varient of Iron man as Doom which I don't like very much. I wanted Dr Doom to be the classic villain with the same origin which he has in comics. This looks like a desperate move from Kevin bhaiya

Seriously man 😅, it is really a dumb decision to make a same actor to act as a different character in the same universe.
Chris Evans case was different, as the F4 belong to the Fox, back when the MCU didn't even exist. So had to apply the bandage to cover the character plot in the name of the "Multiverse".
But now since the MCU already exists, casting the same actor was a foolish move.
